Got plenty of videos to back it up. You've just raced shitty drivers or shitty setups.

I beat a few Mach 1's with a cat back/cai 96 M6 LT1 car. I also beat plenty of stock LS1's too back then. Anything can happen...a good driver goes a long way. This was back when all these cars were basically newer and lower mileage...big difference. I bet most the stock LS1's running around today probably need lifters, valve springs, and a good top end cleaning from lack of a catch can.

That being said the Mach 1 did run good and it was close to the LS1 up until 100mph or so then the LS pulls up top...bout the same as a good running LT1.

I had pretty similar experiences.. the damn LS1s would start creeping around 80 and pulling after 100. LT1 fail

That is an *** whooping. Even if you add Hammer's number into that one.

Looks like the LS1/6 bolt on list is correct in not allowing rockers. Hiocrew loses...again.

I see the CoyoCrew is still astonishingly asshurt over simple modded LS1/6's. What's next, are you going to tell me that rockers make the car extensively modded? "It's the same as a cam, bro!"

May as well do a cam, the motor is already internally modded.

Technically it's a internal bolt-on. Removing the valve covers is about as easy as a oil change. It's far from a cam swap.

I have owned my MACH 1 since day 1. Don't ever remember having an issue running an LT1. An LS1 was much closer with races going both ways. I lost some and won some. It just depended on who had more mods when the race went down. I also owned both a MACH and 2001 Z28 and both cars were very close in performance...imo.

I slept very well. Not quite long enough though, stated up late watching street outlaws and had to get up early. I'll go to bed early tonight though.
