Dammit man the 6g's are getting a little hate tonight? Mine will be running on 93 (no E85) and Lord willing should be ready end of this upcoming week. I'm a M6 and don't track it at all but for ***** and grins just might go to see where I stand. Will def need a few practice runs in as it will be my 4th run ever and it's been over 2 years for me.
When I was stock a lbo br0 was not really a match for me but was NOT hella far behind. On an E85 lbo br0 the bro has the edge no doubt and at absolute best I might have put a half fender out of 3 runs where he won 2. The 6g is the better car out the box as we all know but mod wise a a8 e85 6g is something nasty being unbiased and sincere. If I was going for track numbers (being honest) I would have simply got an A8 and tossed on a set of drag packs, a circle d convertor, E85, g force axles and cf driveshaft a tune and called it a day simple as that. No headers, no exhaust, no cai.

Doug cams do nothing for Coyotes I have seen all of you say that. From a dig bolt ons you would have lost on the street....average times with a 3000DA difference you lost isn't that ******* crazy?? Now that I've done some work it's clear that your worried. **** you wouldn't even race me at 3800lbs with bolt ons lol.

The current king of the s550s is at 10.66. FBO. DS. Suspension. Weight reduction. FTW purple. Trans brake. 5c converter. Also neg DA. With many passes on the setup.
With nothing but ftw additional this 6g would be all over it.

Clutches staying hooked up = more efficient
Unless you do machining you don't put thicker heavier clutches in. Are you saying the trans us modded more?
It's a built trans. I have known many people who build their trand and it goes faster.
Poppa way off 6gen with more mods

Comon Doug.. seriously man? He trashed the trans with a **** tune(I assume shift points/times.. whatever caused clutches to fail).. so he has to rebuild..... yeah lets put stock parts back in..... makes sense...
You know as well as I do, that trans is doing NOTHING to help his runs.

No bro has ever done what this car just did. Truly LBO stock converter and full weight fuel you can buy at the pump 11.0

Yes he does. He does the porting for Tim at his new business at EFI tuning. They sell the ported manifold on the website.

I can find plenty of lackluster on your list too. Same with any car any forum anywhere.

Yep it's excuses but the 6g been out less time, smaller aftermarket, less sales. Sheer numbers less guys running. E85 just got sorted. The mustang crowd is even more so sorted an passionate. They love the bolt on game and have recipes with more options readily available. They are a hardcore worthy rival. If not i wouldn't even love this **** nearly as much without the mustang. Might not be the same for some but my brand bias and the constant back and forth is what makes it so great.
The 5.0 kicks some *** with bolt ons. Most in part because of its ability to rev to 8k in bolt on form. But you also have to admit the 6g gets it done when proper as well. In the end all bs aside I believe the 6g has an edge when NA for the most part depending on mod selection. The 5.0 no doubt has an edge when going FI. I'm an NA guy and love me some GM pushrod old school **** getting it done. Both platforms are great and neither would be as great as they are without the competition.
Hoping I can put up some low 11s as well this spring. I don't see it being an issue any problems aside. I'm doing alright so far and I think I know what I'm doing

If you want a good track time with the m6 you need slicks, axles and a hard *** launch. If not I doubt you'll run something overly impressive. You've already spent tons of money. Invest a little more in the rear wheels and tires. Axles and a DS if you want reliable results. The stock axles and driveshaft will not hold at your power levels on a hook good enough to run solid times. Maybe you don't care idk. I'm sure you'll kick some *** from rolls. But without the proper steps you probably won't even beat my upcoming MBO ET at the strip. If you want good strip results buy the race stars, slicks, DS and axles.
Good luck man

The difference is though... that yall are the exception... not the rule. Majority of 6gens run low to high 12s. 3 seperate 6gens at the same track same day all went 114-115 traps... all stock with the exception of the M6 car which had x-pipe rear cat delete. 6gen is NOT a standard 11sec car stock. It just isn't... that's best case scenario hero DA runs. Drive the car the rest of the year, in the heat, spring, summer, and run into cars on the street... and the 6gen is only a low-mid 12sec car at best stock.
