A guy i worked with on the race team bought a new 3v 5.4 truck. My buddy chris thrashed him with his 5.3 truck and i did with my 2500hd 6.0 truck to. He took it back to the dealer and asked if anything was wrong with it ![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)
He was a furd guy so his perspective on performance was low. He actually thought the truck ran good till we thrashed him.

You see this is how i know you're full of ****. Same configuration trucks and the 5.3 and 6.0 2500 hd accelerate almost identical with a slight edge to the 2500hd. Both will outrun the 5.4....a 2v 5.4 stands no chance at all.
The only way any of the 5.4s could win is to have a configuration advantage.
A 5.4 f250 vs a 6.0 2500 get the 5.4 embarassed quickly.
The best part is you could get the6.0 in vortec max trucks. So now we've got the chevy truck dumbed down to a 5.3 just so the furd can even attempt to keep up.
The only way any of the 5.4s could win is to have a configuration advantage.

Not when compared to 5.4 trucks.
Buddy of mine brought a truck out here one day he borrowed. This been a few yrs ago now but it was a newer furd then. 3v era truck. I asked him what was in it he said as sluggish as it was it has to be a 6cyl. It ended up being a 4.6![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
