ticket.. well i was just goin to cruise around and soon as i got out a good 5min a mustang pulls out of this place and im already goin like 45 or 50 and he pulls out and steps on it..and theirs a cop on the other side comin our way..so i do nothin..and he gets up to like 75mph or so...and we both get a ticket cuz the officer said i was goin around 65mph.. he didnt get a clock on any1.. and this is my 1st ticket..really pissed me off
that sucks man, say that mustang wasn't a red convertible was it?

get a lawyer and have the ticket thrown out due to the lack of evidence. cheaper then paying the ticket and having your insurance jacked up. don't settle for a reduced ticket/fine. if you were not speeding and got a 
ticket, fight for it, it is your right.
remember, the prosecution will have to prove that the officer correctly measured your speed. if everying happened exactly how you described, there is no way in hell they even have the case.
EDIT: this is, of course, assuming you got a ticket for speeding, not racing.
sometimes cops will see you "possibly" racing and give you ticket for something else since they don't have a racing case and people are less likely to contest "smaller" tickets. Happened to me - got a ticket for "spinning my tires" after fooling around with a VW

Yeah fight the ticket yourself and get the reduced charge. If it's your first ticket then you got a really good chance to just pay 100 to 150 in fines and u'll be all set. A lawyer can cost you a lot more money. Just imagine saving 300 to 400 bucks ... what mods could u get with that??? Good luck.

hmm, ironic, i talked to that guy right after yall got a ticket. he said he knew the cop who gave him a ticket, and he was just going to drop it in court. so maybe you can get teh same deal even though you dont know him. i've ran that mustang before, its a 5.0 with "GT-R" emblems, i got him pretty good. lemme know if i can help.-Jim

hmm cool deal... yea the dude in the mustang told the cop we were racing..and i didnt even step on it b/c i saw the cop and he didnt..so i dont think the cop was liking me to much in the 1st place bein young with a nice car.. but hopefully everything will work out
