Default 00 SS Cam/Bolton vs 17 SS 1LE stock

Been wanting to run my buddies 1LE for a while now, he got it right as I put my car down for the cam swap. All in all i'm pretty pleased for a 186K LS1 hanging in there. Just needs heads and injectors before rebuild time.

I was kinda expecting the 1le to pull you, just because you have close to 200,000 miles. Good race.

As someone stated above, I thought you were going to get pulled just because of the high mileage you have on that LS1. Damn impressive!
LS1 still kickin azz!

Good runs.

And LOL at everyone being surprised because of the 186k. That is NOTHING for an LS1.

Agreed but if your talking about "optimal efficiency" of an engine, there is some degradation over time (and mileage) which can cause some compression loss via the rings or valves. No getting around that. There is always wear occurring in all engines.
Just my take on it.

looks about right. the 6gen m6 dynos around 400-415 stock. 1LE are the slowest in a straight line due to weight and aero. huge brakes and wide wheels. A 1SS M6 would probably pull 1-2 cars.

I have seen some happy ones over 400. Most were around 385 stock M6. My 2012 with out electric power steering made 368. Good runs OP!
