Thank you! I bought it about a month after joining this forum and its finally where I want it (12yrs later, ******* life...). Built drivetrain, low hp, but enough to be fun, super reliable, fun daily!
Anyone that insults over and over suspect to ban -
This is not new
It only has to do with you thinking it's unimpressive while your own won't match it is all.
0-121 mph in 11.3 sec in pretty good imo. Idk what the gear ratios are in the vette yet. Could be just getting into x gear....idk
The gs version likely has extra aero also. Give it time and let some people run them.
I only insult when lied upon or insulted......so i would assume there are others in front of me to the

Gotta stip it to win it i guess.

I think you'll see them well into the 10s bone stock at fast tracks in good air.

I can think of 0 none gm na cars trapping 120+ stock or in the 12s with fair testing.
C6z had alot less gear, less traction and likely slower shifts. It will be interesting to see how the lt2 plays out with bolt ons.

I haven't heard what the drivetrain loss is . Why would it lose more?

Looks great!
Just cut the oe springs. Ive had several springs on my car. Cut oe springs seems to work the best imo for overall performance.

I never even mentioned my car, you did.
I was posting GM info only and personally consider buying one used but was hoping for more.
Doug, since you’re the expert on the subject, with the current mods-
18 GT
A10
3:55
JLT
ported intake
ported tb
cat delete
resonator delete
drag lowering springs
3rd revision PBD tune
50lbs weight reduction only
Previously CAT scale weight of 3680 when new - base
What does my car run?
Please inform me since you're certain enough it won’t run 11.3x @ 121 correct? I never even said anything eluding to this.
Again, you brought my car up, I didn’t. As a matter of fact you do it often -
I digress, but I’m very curious to know what that car would run for et and trap?

Indeed, this is street racing -
If you prefer a 1/4 slip, by all means feel free to include but not necessary.

Looks like my favorite fbody I miss to this day! My 99 SS H/C M6 hardtop. Had to sell to pay for my wedding. Tis’ life-
Street racing can be from a dig.....anything past that is negotiated.
We'll have to wait and see how it performs. Right now i think the oe rev limit is holding the lt2 back a little. It makes peak hp at 6450 rpm while still having the same 6600 rpm rev limit as the lt1...... peak tq is 5150 rpm. The lt1 is 6000 for peak hp and 4600 for peak tq. A lt2 should probably be revved to 7k rpm atleast.

One of my favorite cars, ever- 99SS hardtop
My last picture of it-
Sold it for wedding and replaced it with 03 pullied Cobra -
To this day I miss the SS, not the Cobra (even after 2.8KB)
Camaros are the awesome. I feel like mine was made around me. I miss not driving it.....but soon grasshopper soon
My wife knows (we’ve talked - I do most of the taking) if a good priced 99-01 black SS hardtop pops up that’s not over 10-12k in good shape that’s not on the other side of the country, I’m buying it and I’ll sell the Mustang.
I look 2-3 times a week but a good black hardtop SS is hard to find - I should track down the buyer he’s on Tech but I can’t remember his username - it’d be awesome to have my actual car back. I might just try a little harder to find him here.
Yep, im trading my worn leather power seats front and back for a pair of mint cloth manual front seats. They'll work till I can get some Corbeaus or something in it.
