There is nothing windsor like about the ls. You wanna know how we know this......because it's not a gutless pos like windsors were.

Furd new bb ls/t is nearly a direct copy. Furd guys should rejoice tho.....they finally get a ls right from the factory.

GM copied as best they could from Ford. We saw what happens when they try their own ****. Exhibit A) Northstar

Nope! After the 350 LT1 was neck and neck with the little 302, GM copied Windsor as best they could, just added a few modern touches. That's why there's nothing about LS architecture that's unique. Just the small block used recently.

The lt1 thrashed the 30poo and the lt4 thrashed furds super low production scca race car 351.

There is nothing windsor about a ls. I can see where furd guys desire them after all the ls swaps in furds.

But wait a minute. Lots of SBC's in furds to.

if the foxbody was as heavy as the fbody and geared as shitty the 302 would not even be remotely close in performance. Both of my Bone stock LT1 automatics hit bottom 14s (and one had 2:73 gearing). Neck and neck? How?

The mustang....fox especially is a cheap light sardine tin can to put a decent v8 in because it didn't come with a decent v8. That's about the extent of it. There's nothing better about them......they're light and that's all.

Mine ran 15s with 2.4 sixty foot times and 0 traction. You're all about clean runs aren't you? If not then your Camaro is a fuggin 11.5 monster
My 87 coupe ran 13.98s with gears and shifter only, zero power mods.

So you car ran 15s.....has nothing to do with my cars. But now that you mention it my camaro ran 11.5 w/o a dr on my 18s, a ls6 intake and over geared.

Sure you're coupe did that......sssuuurrreee . Damn that little bit of weight from the hatch cars kill those shitty 30p00s

But it still took mods to get it to run with stock lt and tpi cars tested faster than that stock. Good talk

So your Camaro is a mid 11 car and the million dollar Frankenstein is 12 sec car. Good talks all around!
