Hopefully one day I'll get to ride in one.

I wish gm guys did more slb stuff. So much potential there.

An impressive time for sure. No where near being able to steal the stock motor crown from the coyote. Still cool as **** what people can do with these modern cars just bolting on a pre built FI kit.

Well....we know the coyotah that did it's record was in a race car. We don't know much about this 6gen......likely not a race car. Likely not as racey as chihuahua ( no tube chassis stuff, race brakes?? Probably not, e85 nope)car and it's faster than any slb boosted coyotah or modular that is or has been in here.

Gm guys seem to have issues doing slb stuff for some reason. It's really pretty stupid in the end game. As gm increases power using if course slb stuff they're stuck in the same roll of wanting to can or h/c **** to get mediocre results. They'll even build 4xx ci engines and put a stock blower on it that wasn't even really adequate stock. I realize it has taken blower technology a long time to catch up to ls airflow needs but there's no reason to be dumb about it.

Why would Doug stip that the coyote would need to be a poster in this section when the Camaro in question isn't? Lol.

5.0’s are great engines. I mean you can’t make a slow car in 2019 and sell a pony car right? Even Dodge is fast now. Round of applause for the late comers Ford and Dodge. Ford you almost missed the class entirely being last to respectable out of the box.

Ultra, since you work out like me I will ask you this. Don’t most 5.0 owners act like that sawed off 5’8” 210 guy that thinks he’s actually big? Always on edge and defensive with their chest out. Even when they’re in a place they shouldn’t be like a GM forum?

A place that’s obviously a glutton for punishment. Might as well be wearing khakis and penny loafers to a rock concert.

It's not just the new lt stuff, old lt apparently (grub worm) and ls stuff has been way more than capable of supporting boosted power that far exceeds the coyotah/mod stuff. Pcm technology and transmissions are just now catching up to what those old engines were actually capable of.

Yall see that engine masters 305 slb nos test? ******* old slb 305 made like 600hp before it blew on nos as hard as nos is on ****. Boosted i bet that old pos would survive even more power.

Which cars are far exceeding modular Ford capabilities? Someone out there going 4s in the 1/4 mile?

Not that building a coyotah does much besides keeping it from blowing the side out of the block and the cylinder liners from eating themselves........isn't that yalls term.....lol
