**** I just got the converter installed today very happy with how it feels . I may have to do brakes before I go though the record holder dropped 50 lbs with them . Here is a vid before trans tune

i realize the Z is a tempting buy, BUT in 2020 there are platforms in NA, and especially boosted form that make a 7 liter LS struggle to compeet on motor. however, IMO in 2020 a boosted LS7 should be hard to beat.
if you go to euro youtube pages, billionaire europeans with more money than sense can't get their C6Zs within a half mile of boosted audis and others.
AND for HIO, a 1100 rwhp ALL motor 7 liter LS is far short of the power needed to NOT get *** raped.

i had no idea there were so many 1000-2000hp cars on the street here
huntsville alabama is the home of NASA marshall space flight center, the home of design and testing of the saturn V that went to the moon, all of the early manned flight rockets. all of our current US army missiles.
MICOM, testing for experimental sniper rifles happen exclusively here. all of the US army's anti tank missiles are born here. MLRS is designed and built here. this is the HOME of US army AI flight. ETC.
MY next door neighbor is a NASA rocket engineer working on the launch vehicle for the moon landing and mars manned flights.
so, yes. there are a shitpot of elite turbo LSs here. my 700rwhp turbo would get **** on by most built cars here
the receiving station for all of the GOES weather satellites is here in huntsville alabama. the FBI's forensic lab moved from virginia to here. 2500 FBI agants and support staff

The SS you can just hop in and drive. The ZL1 you have to prepare for, there is no isolation from the road. The only rubber between you and the road is the tires. No rubber in the suspension or subframe isolators, they are aluminium. That car is harsh on the street, but it's fun.

I don't think I'd be down with how harsh the ride is though.
