Sxc posted the boosted one. Stock displacement for both.
Here's the na one....again stock displacement for both.

I'd hate to take it that fair for shake down passes.

For the average street guy the new Coyote is tough to beat with boost. A used s550 auto with boost is a good buy and build on a budget. Sometimes it turns out cheaper than a heads cam Z06 C6 and terms of total money invested. Vette is the better car but we talking straight line speed. While a Camaro SS may match it it is tough to find a tuner and the fuel system is not cheap to do.
Wonder if they figured out the tick problem and if quality is ok with the 19s and 20 Mustang V8 auto.

Yea, my mistake not fact checking that, I make mistakes -
The current mod motor record (factory head castings) is actually 5.80 @ 256 (+13 mph over LS)

'
The new JZ record is 5.6's and his 1/8th mile is a 3.74 if that puts things into perspective about the LS. The LS went 5 mph faster then the JZ in the 1/8th too and the JZ traped 255 in the 1/4.
The trajectory of the LS's record should be in the 5.6's at around 260+ mph in the 1/4. Just based on the 1/8th mile.
That being said the LS IS technically faster then the mod motor/coyote. None of those guys has gone close to a 3.7 in the 1/8th.

So according to current actual results the LS holds a faster 1/8 and Coyote 1/4 -
I didn't see the displacement of the LS honestly - the video didn't show, any idea?

Best way to put it, but you and i both know if the LS car makes a 1/4 mile hit its game over. He's doing it on a radial too.

Here is (maybe) the most recent 1/8 - 3.83 @ 202
If correct, both cars currently, the et 1/8 favors LS and trap speed in 1/8 still goes to coyote at 351 cubes. Very impressive -
Guess well do this all day, lol

Na is the only way to compare the engines if you truly want the engines compared. Way to many other factors with any type of power adder. If the engine is breathing on its own then you know where the power comes from.
Then add 15 efficient psi to both......the gap will only grow in favor of ls/lt stuff.
So the furd is a maxxed out bored stroked piece while the ls is at stock ci......interesting. I'm sure the furd guys will whine about that discrepancy. Especially since it's not mod4mod
are you ******* stupid??? Serious question. I mean haven't you noticed all the efforts towards weight reduction these days you EDIT?? Seems as tho i was just a bit ahead of the curve. How bout you call up plane engineers and race car engineers and new car and truck engineers and tell them how reducing weight is stupid.

Yeah the 1/4 passes are old, i believe thats when the car debuted. The car now competes in radial vs the world , they only run 1/8th mile. He's kicking *** in that class.
Regardless of the outcome even if LS is fastest or JZ or mod motor, the normal people (us) want to go fast on a budget and there's no other platform im aware of going 4's in the 1/8th with a SBE except the LS stuff.
A guy on here went 4.50s with a SBE LS a month back, thats 4 tenths faster then my built JZ car, i know how hard it is to get into the 4's in the 1/8th and to see a stock bottom end anything do that is damn impressive. Hats off to those guys.
haha don't doubt it these door car guys are killing it.
