The only people using Ford 302's and Chevy 302's are the purist and restorers (btw, if you know where a 69 dz302 is id be happy to buy one). Literally noone is trying to go fast with a SBF (or if they are, they are going 351) or SBC anymore. I have a SBC in my garage that I have more money in the camshaft than the entire engine is worth because LS's are too easy and too plentiful. So their (SBC/SBF) relevancy to this conversation is nowhere within the spectrum.
As for his not getting out of the 13's N/A, who cares? If you're not out of the 13's n/a then you're using an inferior platform or you aren't trying. My tune only 02 SS with every option GM/SLP had to throw at it (except for CME and blackwing) ran 13.1 with a 2.0 60 foot. A good tire would have broken into the 12's but I never cared enough and, at the time, didn't have money to throw at it. Of course ive seen a metric **** ton of termis that couldn't get out of the 13's if their lives depended on it. And they had blowers, so whats their excuse?
