That shop has a car for ling time like you. Difference is it runs 7.0 in the 1/4 letting out because of a wheelie at 900ft mark. Your **** can't stop blowing engines up. That shop tunes all of texas speed and performance cars. What do you tune? **** that blows up, or you help with cars that add heads, cam and then doesn't go faster. Lol
And it stands true you work there and dont know wtf you're talking about, looking at or doing.

No dropped valves. Idk what happened to the ls7 other than a start up issue of some sort that puts water in the oil. So i didn't blow it up.
The ls6 got the **** ran out of it for 90k. Instead of being a dumbfuck like you and putting it back in and possibly blowing up a good engine that was ran hard it got rebuilt with a few upgrades.
I'm sure there will be more stupid comments from a dumb **** that don't know **** about ****.

Seen more then one let go just starting up.
**** happen's.
My engine just turned over 112K, still running strong.
Stopped counting how many bottle's of juice I have gone through. With the cost of N2O up to $8.00 a pound, I don't want to know.
But if that engine lets go tomorrow I am not going to bitch.
I will upgrade.
And as for the people who snicker and point their finger..
Get a better job, work more hours or something.
Maybe building a faster car will make you feel more secure.

Seen a 2015 Z28 let go on a track day, [road course] that was bone stock, with just over 5k miles.
And there is more then a couple of those boo-boo's that have been reported.

Idk what happened to this one yet. The ls7 is at my buddy's shop that builds race engines. He'll pressure test it at some point....hopefully sooner rather than later.
I'm leaning towards a defective head gasket. Or possibly a mistake in torque. One bolt seemed looser than the others on disassembly. Hopefully that's all it was. But there was a little water that laid in 2 cylinders ....that shouldn't have been there. Another clue to it being defective headgasket or tq.

Notice how awd wasn't even competitive against vehicles that wasn't even fully locked.
Notice how awd wasn't even competitive against vehicles that wasn't even fully locked.
I think the advantage of an awd is for ppl with no experience.
The guy's that say otherwise complain that the "rear pushes the front straight ahead instead of letting you turn".
I will concede that, a little.
My fullsize bronco, [full locker in rear and a true trac up front], can take some finesse going around some corner's in snow.
Sometimes its best to actually gas it so the front end "pull's" your rig around.
That just flat out rattle's some people.
But to we few who actually 'wheel' it's no big deal.
So to all those who say that an awd is better in snow over any 4x4, your full of crap.
Period.

You're exactly right on how they drive. On throttle fully locked they turn......if these others guys had actually ever driven a fully locked 4x4 they would have known that characteristic.
Great for doing donuts too. They pivot like a track loader ....lol

No one ever said it's better last I checked however on the road awd is best. I've done plenty of off reading with both front and rear lockers up in the mountains and through some fairly deep mud. But I believe hio has done his typical move by moving the goal post to suit his narrative

No goal posts were moved. Seems like yall doing your typical move after saying stupid ****......it's called back pedaling.
This goes from having been in 8" of snow.....omg. To another *** having his wife drive him around on plowed roads......to the queen *** mac having read about it. To none of the **** commenting/liking saying dammit about the characteristics of either platform and no experience with fully locked 4x4. I think this is called giving each other a reach around![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
🤣🤣🤣🤣 .....can't even make this **** up
Then of course we have a vid of a pretty mild snow where the awd stuff got waxed.
Awd is fine. It has its place i guess. It also has its limits. I might even buy the wife a awd e500 wagon at some point. But when **** gets real.....I'll know what vehicle to get in. And my truck isn't even fully locked. Just a rear locker in it. If the only option wasn't a arb for the front it would probably already have one in the front. Nothing like a front locker in the snow.

Who ******* cares? Do you all live on a ski slope? Tracked vehicles are far superior in the snow to locked 4x4's but we don't need to all run out and buy tanks for winter.
******* morons.
******* morons.
