Nothing terribly exciting, but finally getting back to ordering parts for the Camaro. All new front brakes (calipers/lines/pads/rotors), new front wheel bearings, and trap door access panels ordered. Havent ordered anything rear end wise yet since I havent decided on a rear axle yet.
Our Drag Weekend is this weekend, so all my free time is dedicated to that event. Our first multi-day event including a Friday evening car show at the airport (while we setup as much as possilbe), then two full days of racing Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to it, hope the weather cooperates, and glad our province (state) doesn't require anything to attend.
Our local club has small web page if anyone wants to have a look:

im still happy with 3.90s but I do miss the great gas mileage I had with 3.42s 😂
I installed the tubular front end & a-arms I had sitting in the garage and never ran the car again lol. Car is still sitting in the garage all good, drove it yesterday. Haven't driven it nearly as much as I used to the past few years except just around town. I think when the power steering got removed I stopped finding it as fun, then the stereo had some issues and I didn't drive it as much. Then covid and everything hit and I stopped going outside for a while.
TBH, at the time I quit posting, I just got tired of the stupid **** in this forum and HPJ (is that place even still active???). Every conversation felt like the same **** over and over between the same people and I just got bored. To tack on, was having some personal problems and **** so ended up disconnecting myself from a lot of stuff online/offline, switched jobs, all that kind of **** etc. Just kind of fell out of racing a little bit in general...wanted to start back up and then the covid **** hit and haven't done anything really since. Hope to start getting back to the track sometime soon, probably not this year but maybe next season.
Sucks my shootout ended up on the same weekend as your event.
Have fun buddy!
Glad to hear your shootout went well - and the weather was great for both events! We had a great turnout vehicle wise and spectator wise, had a ton of fun.

Happy that you're still around dude! You'll get back to it when it's right for you.

Nice!
It was pretty badass, I went out in semi's at no prep by 0.003 seconds and got the chedda in the CASS shootout by 0.074 seconds....both VS Kelly with the turbo coyotah.

Dangg, doesn't get much tighter than that!!
We had some really low 6's in the 1/8th, but still haven't seasoned the runway enough to dip into the 5's. It's getting better, and the weekend put a lot of new rubber down. Got a line on some new ideas for first 60' of prep too, so will try that next year.

Watch some socal skreet vids and prep the first 100 ft with glue like they do. lol
I've been away for a bit, built a house, blah blah blah. I figured Hio's 4th rebuild in the Camaro would be up and running by now? What's going on there?
you're simply a stupid **** if you think a 8.8 is better than a 12bolt. Furd copied that rear close enough they even use some of the same bearings.
But this confirms everything i ever thought about you. That you don't know **** about ****.
Dumbasses like you should be bant from the interwebs.
Isnt the 12 bolt center section one piece with the pumpkin instead of bolted on? The axle splines arent an issue as they would get replaced with 35 splined units.
