I’m looking into a place to pull the transmission for me and ship to Tick. Plan is to rent a trailer and tow it with the Rango. Tick told me about a place up near Statesville so fingers crossed. I used to be capable of doing all of this myself but between health and work I just can’t anymore. Will be good to have the Camaro back up with a fresh T56 though, it’s been 3 years already since it started getting stuck in gear and I said F it.

Health, work, and time. As I get older, there are fewer things I want to tackle myself. Good plan to get it freshened up!

amen to that and thanks. So torn.. the DDHC has me spoiled with all the fancy stuff (heated/cooled seats and wireless CarPlay for example). It will be different driving the Camaro again.

DDHC is on the X164 MB GL chassis, so it's a solid unit. Camaro is an entirely different universe for driving experience lol!
I really do miss the Camaros rawness and even the “if I smash the pedal will I hit the curb” game. I’m planning on a real cam upgrade later on if I keep it around.
I picked up another fun car, it's a 04 cl55 amg, they have 493 hp, but weigh 4300 pounds. I read they dyno between 400-420. I'm thinking about modding it to around 500 rwhp, it's supposed to run mid 12's, think 80-90 more hp would have it to a mid 11?

I got to drive an E43 AMG recently…. I don’t think it was as potent as yours but it felt pretty good.
Those are my favorite too. I'd love to have a m6 vagon.
But anymore soccer mom awd SUVs are tough to beat on the street. These new electric cars just dominate. They're really making ice cars look like dinosaurs.
What have I missed? Been MIA awhile busy with family stuff and few other things. Camaro has been sold, new owner already has is stripped, caged, 9 inched, and big cube LSX on the way for it. Picking up a 99 FRC M6 vette on Monday.
Congrats on the new ride! the window part sucks though. Been to STL a few times and thankfully never had anything bad happen. 😞
Worst part is they are seriously talking about snow here later this week. So my 4wd is sitting in the shop waiting on a backorder and they have no loaners. If it snows my *** is staying home lol.
