I had it to far forward in my duggy box. I don't think the signal (air moving across it) was strong enough
It seems to drive better with the mass air working.
I also moved the battery to the back not long ago. The car feels more balanced and definitely a traction improvement.
looks great, I had my battery in the trunk, but I put it back in the stock location because I didn't want to put a shut off switch in it, for track events.
Finally got rid of the damn sleak beak for a ws9 hood. Had this hood sitting in my bedroom for the past 6 years lol. Many hours to get fitting close to perfect....
UPDATE:
Been 5.18 and 137.91 in the 1/8 for PB's on this genV L83 76mm combo now.
I put a TnT s488 on it recently, see how quick it goes before eating itself now....
I just bought a 03 Mach 1 with a 03 cobra swap, it has a kenne bell mammoth 2.8 on it, what do you shift these cars at rpm wise? I won't be driving it until spring.

I never had stock cams, but my guess is around 6000-6500.
Anybody do any cool **** to their car lately?
I haven't, but since I've had the 03 I've done a bunch of not very sexy mods, such as motor mount replacement, swapping quieter mufflers, replacing billet interior pieces with factory stuff, replacing antenna, adding MGW shifter, added AUX cable functionality to factory stereo, discovered the blower and plenum are ported and it has been tuned at some point (has MAFia mass air meter extender).
Yep, walked 2 dude bros in a 2022 GT500 from a dig to 125ish last summer. They were pulling back after 100 but were still 2 lengths behind at 125. GTP ran 11.7 on all seasons. SVTP.com couldn't handle it LOL
I made NOmusclestang come back after 5 years. I own you 🤣

That's a pretty nasty GTP. Still on a supercharger, or is it a turbo? And I would love to talk **** with you like the old days, but my poor Buick GS wheel hops the car apart at anything over half throttle, so I'd be happy with a 13 second pass right now.

Gen V blower, 2.8 pulley, Stage 3 intercooler, XPZ cam, stage 3 heads, fully built trans with 3.29 gears, headers, TB, pretty much a full blower build. Makes around 400whp and close to 500wtq. I bought it in Michigan for $2k with 62k miles on it. All the mods have less than 10k miles

That's pretty much max effort on the Eaton, anything more and it needs the turbo. I've always wanted a Regal GS or a GTP, but I've never been able to get one, I'd jump on one at that price. Bet it's both fun and a handful when the torque steer kicks in.

It has torque steer in 2nd gear too lol. I don't get on it in 1st very often. Usually just mess with people from a 40+ roll. I couldn't pass it up for $2k and that miles. All it needed was new tires, injector o rings and a cam and crank sensors. Trailered it 800+ miles home.

My Northstar cadillac was bad enough on torque steer, I can only imagine an extra 200 lbs-ft and 150RWP. Yeah, don't blame you on the price, people have been insane on used cars lately.
