Katech 427 vs boosted 10r80 This race was overdue for a while now but we finally agreed to meet for some friendly runs , most of you know Ernie's car built , Katech 427, heads , cam , ported Holley hi-ram , and E85 , the only new change to his car is he went down to a 26" tire from a 28 which in my opinion made a good difference for his car as well as his curb weight 3150 with him inside .
My car 2018 10r80 fbo , wr , 3.4 pulley and e85 3800 lbs me inside , we agreed on 50 and 60 rolls which is more suited for his set up my stronger roll is 40 but really no point in trying that roll , overall his car got faster he kept up really good . he jumped hard in one of the two 50 rolls we did we talked about it after the race . definitely his car would beat or give a good run to many boosted 5.0s .night vids , camera was slightly pointed to the rear of the car , last run was actually the 60 rolls .
