S4 Audis are pretty quick I met a cool young dude in a motorcycle safety course today... and we decided to race after the class....(there goes safety)
20mph punch he was behind me, i was in second, we both hit it...
damn, i barley pulled him, thru thind i put only maybe car length. Couldnt hit 4th cause of traffic. That thing was kicken.
I should have rev'd it and naild 2nd instead of bogging a little
oh well, since i realized (after looking up on line) those cars are like 50Grand and 340hp!
he said he only had an exhaust
conclusion:
S4's pretty badass
time for some more mods just in case

With a chip the 2.7L twin turbo motor is making more hp/tq than the v8. I have a friend with a chipped 2000 S4 6-speed and he hangs at my rear bumper from an low roll-120ish.

S4's are quick...but there is no way that it was stock.....it had to be modded to hang with your cam.
Kind of reminds me about an M3 that beat me at the track my first time out. I figured we'd be dead even since I was stock. He kept trapping at 110 and beating me by a couple tenths. He said he just had a chip, intake and exhaust. I learned a few months later that he had a hidden 75 shot. Why he would lie I don't know......

my only real race so far was with a s4, i was completely stock besides a somewhat handicapping flowmaster exhaust. i dunno the year, but it was a nice car. looked new and fast as hell. from about a 30mph roll with him getting a decent jump i put maybe a car length on him up to about 120-130? it was right after i bought the car, i'm sure now if it was the same exact run i'd be a little further ahead.

yea, it def. was a brand new one, bright yellow even.
He admitted to the cat-back, and didnt say anything about a chip,
hopefully he was lying

Nice kill! Those cars are definitely quicker than what I thought too. I raced one from a roll once. Actually, I tried to get him to race but he wasn't interested at first. He let me pass then he went flying by. I nailed it in 3rd and passed him up in 4th, then let off, then he passed again and I just stayed on his bumper a little bit and then just let him go. But I was shocked at how fast it was so I had to checked it out on the net to see exactly what it was. Neat cars though!
