Me Vs. 99/00 Saleen mustang Vs. 2000 T/A Well i was driving home from what had been a long ,shitty day at work, and in my rearview is a silver Mustang with the Saleen Front body kit. When he pulls up next to me, i see that it is badged with saleen S281 markers 
.
He pulls up next to me and my girl with that"i am a badass and your car is slow " smirk on his face
<~~like this. Well my girl laughed at him as the light turns green and he proceeds to show off and get his car sideways,almost hitting the curb and i rrush to get up next to his car after he settled down, he still has that i am a badass look on his face.
So we go from about 25 and i spin a little then hook and slam second. Pulling hard now, and he is about half a car back. Wound second out and hit third, now he is about 3 cars behind so i slow down, get next to him and my girl is just hysterically laughing at this guy and he flips us off and turns..Douche bag
Second race is from a few days ago
LS1 Trans Am with old ragged out exhaust tips. The car wasn't very well taken care of but the guy wanted to run em anyway, so i obliged. We went from a dig and i just pulled on him through first and second then shut it down . I had a few lengths on him,but i wasn't surprised as how his car looked like BUTT.

Great Kills. Always excellent to hear stories of the Stangs going down. My recent conclusion: Any form of the Stangs just have not been that much of a challenge. I really don't care to race them anymore. It's just a waste. Thought I was going to get to run a Twin Turbo'd Supra, but it didn't work out. Darn. I am looking for a Vette or two to run..

I had a similar guy pull that **** on me going to pick my girl up on Saturday night. Rolled up next to him at a light and he gave me some serious foul face, mouthed something to a cute blonde in the passenger seat. Then proceeded to nail it on green. Let him roll me off the line. I usually dont bounce off 6500rpms on the street but that ******* needed it. Cooked his *** bigtime and rolled the window down to say whats up. He looked at me and quickly turned off the street. Saleen *********. Who needs them.

rofl yeah i hate mustangs im in a truck with a tci 3000 stall and headers (shorties at that) and some bitch in a mustang tries to take me out when i turn on to a road then she starts revving her motor at me and spins right in front of a cop station at a red light. so at the next light i roll my window down and tell her if she is going to race she needs to buy a real car first with that i start to take off and she is revving the crap outta it so i figure what the hell and hammer it dead even till she miss shifts and drops like a bad habit surprised the hell outta me an 02 gt vs a truck with a 3k stall

No, neither one is anything special.
The base S281 is even more pathetic, but the S/C S281 is bunk too. I remember going head to head with one at Stanton last spring. I had a shitty launch, pulled even when I hit second, stretched to a half car lead at the top of second and then just DESTROYED him when I hit third. I ran a 13.3 to his 14.0
he never trapped above 99 mph all day long. S/C S281s are nothing more than a nice body kit and wheels on a grossly overpriced car.
