Default WS6 vs 04 Cobra

Well Now I can finally say I beat a Blown Cobra. Lastnight I was just joy riding when this Silver 04 Cobra comes flying behind me after flying through traffic. He gets up along side me rolling from 45mph.. he hongs 3 times and we are both off, I can hear that supercharger whinning. His front bumpers next to my rear finder and I start to pull on him. Id say we where pretty much at the same length for the whole race, I had about a car and a half on him till 135mph. I guess i should have sprayed or something, but It was a great race, and he was damn fast. We slowed down to 35 and I rolled my window down to ask him what he had and he said exhaust, intake, nittos and pulley. But I really think that race could have gone either way, I asked him for another race, this time from a dig but he said he was running out of gas. Well hopefully Ill run into this guy again.... thank god he wasnt an ******* like some I race and give me the finger or say something stupid like most.
When i race him again hopefully I have my friend in the car to film it.
PS: Stay tuned for next time.. with vid

Its the TSP Magic Stick cam: 237/242 .603"/.609" 113LSA Made pretty damn good numbers. I was going to go with the tsp 231/237 cam but I desided I wanted to break 400rwhp and didnt want a T-rex cam, so the magic stick was the next best thing.

Im not going to spray on him i want to be able to beat him by atleast 2 maybe 3 cars on motor, what do yall think the out come will be? I put down 441rwhp and 423rwtq. He ran a 12.4 without programer and pulley but i still think i can take him, so what do yall think. If not im going to spray the **** out of him cause he dont know i have it.
Well...his mods are good for low 11's if he's worth a **** behind the wheel (if he has the basics...CAI, catback, pulley w/ idlers, etc). Count on 11.80's though.

Nice kill!

I havent been able to run my new set up at the track to see what I run in the 1/4... But id say race him, I used to be scared to race a blown cobra till I was reading post with small bolt on Ls1s vs stock cobras and the Ls1s won... So id figured id run this guy, even if i lost it would be nice to see where im at.

Im kinda iffy about what to do now, i just found out he has around 420rwhp and i heard someone saying one time that for a corba to beat a f-body they have to have 50+hp to acaculate for the extra weight.

you have good suspension mods?? cause TSP took there Magic stick cam and put it into a LS1 with minor bolt ons and lots of suspension and ran a 10.51 and that car only puts out 420ish rwhp.. not saying you can run mid 10s, but id say run this guy.. id say you will win hands down

I didn't know that he was at 5500' of elevation. That's a killer.

Like I said, a pulley w/ idlers, a catback, nittos, and a tune are good for low 11's if the driver is good. Not at that elevation however.

At this elevation I think its going to be hard for him to break a 11.70 maybe a 11.80, and i think its going to be tough for me to beat a 11.50. Thinks alot guys for the help i know im not going to loose now but i know its going to be a great race.

That is a sweet setup! I can only imagine what tuning for that cam was like , but definately sounds like it is tuned right!

I had it DynoTuned at SpeedInc, it actually put out more power then I thought it would, even with the 3500 stall. Im happy with it, and cant wait to add some Heads and im now thinking of getting either a KCM 402 long block or a 408.

I dont get it how would you run low 11s with mods you just said. No metter how good driver you are.
high 11s possible.
With all that you might have a 450 rwhp.

460rwhp = 11.29 @ 121mph for me with those mods (and nittos). Just gotta know how to drive.
