2005 GTO VS. Modded 2000 Trans AM WS.6 Video
Save the drama of street racing, these were back roads that are extremely open and low traffic. Second run was cut short due to debris that blew into the road.
The GTO is bone stock, the WS6 has a catback, air filter, and a tune. Both running on street tires.

Seriously though I'm glad they put an ls2 in the goat, ls1 goats just feel kind of sluggish to me.

In the first race it looked liked you had pulled him in already.
But, the 05' GTO is alos throwing down 400 HP and stock has mag raced quicker in the 0 to 60 so I am not surprised it pulled hard on the launch. After the launch it is pretty even though (IMO).
Nice video and I would have liked to see a run to 100 - 120 mph.

Definately that 400 hp is alittle overrated. Rode in a friends and thought the same thing. Only has 245 series rear tires and w/ traction control off from a dead stop it wont even break them loose. Havent got the chance to race him yet, but i will eventually. I love the looks, but just like the 04's ive seen, seems like GM overrated them. (Saw an 04 put down only 289 rwhp at a local dyno) So im sure the LS2 is overrated as well as the LS1's were in the 04's.
