FIrst kill with H/C!!! A good friend and I decided to see what the H/C was worth so we went from a 45-50mph roll on the freeway... bolt-ons 6spd vs my H/C auto... guess the heads/cam were worthwhile. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Xtreme Motorsports in Phoenix did the install on all the parts. They did a great job mechanically but they kind of skimped on tuning a lot. Some of it was becuase they told me it would be done on a certain day and I drove 2hrs up to the shop (I had called them that morning) but they started it up that afternoon and noticed the water pump leaking so they fixed that and ended up staying there until about 11:30pm finishing up which was real cool of them but the tuning I can tell was rushed. I'm going to still need LS1 edit.

I thought you would pull away faster but I guess it helps when the other car has bolt-ons?

Just don't know if it's worth the few extra ponies.
Keep in mind that is a 6-spd vs automatic from a roll though... I raced him before the H/C when we were on pretty equal ground and he'd put about a car length between our bumpers before. Guess I get the last laugh though.

There's a couple videos from this last weekend where I raced a 6spd with TR224 (same cam I have) with stock heads, with hookers, etc. The car runs strong, we went from about a 25mph roll that time (since we both figured there's no way either of us would come close to grabbing traction from a dead dig).
I couldn't be more happy with the motor work I've done, car runs very strong!
