It will be a good race, but i think you will get the kill. My cousin has an 03', we went to the track and my best run was a 12.5@112.5 to his 12.7@107. It will be a drivers race and you will more than likely be playing catch up. He would beat me by about 4 car lengths off the line(I was launching@2000, to his 6500rpm). Those cars 60' really well with gears,but the ls1 will pull more mph.I had a lid,lt's,ory,hpp3,cutout; to his cold air,tune,bassani x&catback,4.10's and a built rear. I did not beat him every time, but I still had the best time.Bone stock i ran a 13.2@108, and i have seen a mach run mid to low 13's on street tires. As long as you get a 2.0 or under 60' and don't miss any gears you should get him at the end.

Yeah, the last I talked to him he added LT's and said he's down to 12.2. But thats alot of time for the 15-20 rwhp gain.

Look at his 1.782 60'. Damn hard to get that with a m6 and a 10 bolt. Those cars 60' really good!! Launching at 2000 the best 60' I got was a 2.0, vs the mach's 6500 launch 1.7 60'. I was still faster because I was at 352rwhp 365rwtq to jester's 295rwhp 310rwtq.

Mach's run even better with a 6800/6900 launch & 1.5X 60' times....

 

I have seen a large range for stock mach1 in the 1/4. I have seen them range from a low 13sec to a low 14range, But I never been scared of one, raced a few, but never had a close one with one. But do have to admitt I think the shaker hood scope is bad ***, would love one but would look like *** on a ta not to mention a bitch to set it up
