290-310 rwhp is my guess, depends on if you got a "good one" or not, LS1's vary a lot.

Those Crossfire's are quick! They can run on the big end very nicely!

Even the SRT6 is waaaaay overpriced for what you get IMO performance wise. I mean what $50K? I can think of a bunch of cars I would take over it in that price range. I think I seen it run a 13.9 in the 1/4? correct me if im wrong.

The SRT-6 is rated at 330 & 310 ft pounds and runs a little over 13 in the quarter. Pretty quick little car, my friend test drove one when he went to buy his 05 Jeep, but damn expensive. About 46K for the SRT-6 version, 10K more than the base unit.

RANT MODE
I hate that car. Its got the same basic engine found in the Jeep liberty. My Mom has a Liberty, and its a fine little SUV (especially when you price it next to others!) but that motor doesnt make jack untill higher revs, and even then its not much for a 3.7L V6. Thats one of Mercs worst engines.

The thing does not handle, it doesnt go fast strait, its not roomy, its ugly IMHO, it gets so/so mileage, and its expensive. Im not surprised you hardly ever see them. They started as a TT wannabe and ended by taking out the coolest feature they had as a concept-power. I have no clue why anyone would get one over a 350Z or Mazdaspeed Miata or S2000, all of which are cheaper. And I would put a Mazdaspeed against a CF anyday from a dig, maybe from a low roll too. No contest at all on a track.

The SRT-6 better kick *** or that car will be a disgrace. Why the ever loving f#$% did they make that POS and not the Razor concept. They could have sold those by the bucketfull and they would be fast as hell, real Evo competition.

RANT OFF

New SRT-6 = Old Mercedes SLK320 Not a slow car, but overpriced if looking at it in a performance/dollar aspect.

As for not being able to handle, come on, this coming from f-body drivers. I doubt it's significantly worse than our cars when it comes to handling, maybe a little more understeer but I doubt it's all that bad.

But in any kind of straight line racing I would never worry about a stock crossfire SRT-6 or not.

the SRT-6 coupe is $45,695 and the soft-top rings up $49,995.
330-bhp, 310-lb.-ft.-of-torque, supercharged 3.2-liter, 18-valve, single-overhead-cam aluminum V-6
The Japanese-made IHI supercharger does whack time off the Crossfire's track numbers in big chunks. A 60-mph run now swiffs by in 5.1 seconds, a 1.4-second improvement over a six-speed manual Crossfire we tested in 2003. That car ran the quarter in 14.8 seconds at 96 mph. The SRT-6 posts a 13.5-second quarter, steaming through the trap at 107 mph.

UHM..ok.
For 50k You could get a MUCH better looking car, and def trap better than 13.5
c5 z06 sounds nice!

Lol, I agree with teh above post about comparing it to 350's, S2K's etc...They actually tested it on a show against the S2K and the S did better in just about every category. They even said at the end of the test, they would choose an S2K over the CF especially for $15K less We bought our S2K new for $35K with 100K mile warranty etc...And got the same performance etc as the SRT6 CF

I've seen a time of 13.3 at 107 for a stock Crossfire SRT-6. Overpriced though.
