Default Any body race a turbo bike?

If so how much power do you have and how did you do. I'm Just try to figure out how much power a car needs to keep with a high HP car. My bike makes 286hp on pump and almost 400 on race and i don't think my vette 590 whp(spray) would have a chance agianst the bike on pump never mind race . I definatly don't trust anybody to drive either so i can try that. Just looking for your personal experiances.

id like to see someone out run a R1 or similar bike ~180fwhp those alone are very difficult even with lots of mods...a turbo bike would be close to impossible on the street

A few of my bike friends disagree on what kind of power in a car would keep with our bike. I feel 900 plus WHP would keep with a 200hp bike, now i know my bike might be hard to beat but a few friends have 200whp turbo bike and i think there are a few cars out there that will keep up.. I remember doing a roll with a F50 on a 150hp bike and he was pulling me. Not shure of the power of the car but it was fast. I know my vette doesn't have a chance but somebody out there must. Well thanks for all the info.

He're an easy to way to find the asnwer to your question. What does your
bike trap on race gas?

A 200HP bike with any traction would own a 900HP street car, if the guy could keep it from flipping over backwards...

And that's not an exceptionally high-boost bike. Saw a turbo GSXR turn a 9.1 at 163 at Sears Point, then ride it home. He was running 9:1 pistons and 18psi boost with a small FMIC sticking out the left side.

Its kinda hard to ride it down the 1320 at 25psi. I have tried a few time at @14psi and it trapes low 160. 14psi is what i drive around town with and it make 286, race gets in the high 3XX. Bike weighs 390 and i weigh 200. Thats about 2to1 on pump and 1.6 to 1 on race. This is just bench racing between me and some friends, i was hoping we had some races on here to share with a turbo bike. I personally like to play on the highway more than the quater. I run a half second slower than my friend in the quater and i give him a gear on the highway. Its all in how you set up your toy. Thanks agian Steve

I just wanna say that theres alot of cars that would own a turbo bike-at the track. There are outlaw cars running over 200mph on little 28x10.5 tires/full weight.....not to even mention mini-tubbed or tubbed cars and lightweight drag cars. As far as running out on the highway at highspeeds- I've seen a couple in magazines geared and set up for 200+ mph racing, but they probably would still get smoked. But, from a dig 1/4 on the street, it would be hard to keep up with you in an average full weight street car. Have you ever raced a heavily modded AWD car in the 1/8 on the street? I dont see how you stay on that thing with so much power.

Here- this guy went 165mph on drag radials with ? HP. http://www.bmrfabrication.com/Featur...l%20wars10.mpg

My buddies mustang went 7.95@175mph on 28x10.5" slicks on 10" wheel, and it was a small block with a huge procharger, glide, and around 3,000lbs.

road and track did the standing mile and the bile came in 4th or 5th i think. there is definetely some rides that could kill one. however the bike was beating the f-14 fighter plane until the quarter mile. then the fighter smoked it
