Default '05/06 GTO A4 vs. '03/04 Cobra??

What mods do yall think it would take a '05/06 GTO A4 to be faster than a stock '03/04 Cobra from a roll?? I know a tune to take torque management out is one of them.

Gears and full exhaust and I'd say they'll be neck and neck.

down the 1320 the goat is going to have the advantage seeing as how slobras are a bit more difficult to launch.

If you want to do it really cheap, just slap on some tires, a tune, and pull out as much weight as possible. That should do it.

BTW, I think the '06 Goats are A6s, not the A4s, but I may be wrong...

He said from a roll is why no one has said anything. But a stall isn't just for the take off. It also brings you into the rpm much quicker and when you hammer it, it comes unglued.

So I would also have to say get a stall around a 3,200 with a few other bolt on's.

Wouldnt the GTO be about the same to launch, or is the Cobra's IRS just harder to launch than the GTO's? If so what makes it that way, they are pretty similar arent they?

Mid-1.6's on 17" DR's and 100% bone stock suspension for me.
Not sure who thinks the Cobras won't work from a dig, but that's wrong. The right tire = no more wheelhop.

But yeah...an A4 GTO will need a few mods to hang from a roll if that's how you run them. It'll be down 4-6mph of trap speed.
