Z06 Rich and I got 4 runs in, 2 of which I was simply ghey, and shifted from 3-2 at 95mph... does not reflect well on my driving ability
Other two pulls we got, Z06 got the jump, and by reviewing the video, was 4 car lengths up to 155mph from a 40mph roll, and 2 car lengths at 70mph roll (afraid I was going to rear end him there for a sec...)
Turns out, he was cool as hell - he brought his (what I believe were) sons with him, an '02 NOS'd Vette and a gorgeous WS6 (?) Will look at the pics again to affirm...
Had a good time, they didn't collect on their lunch so I owe them one should they make it back up to PHX or I pass thru Tucson.
Not at home right now, but will upload some video for all to see. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, it was a fair set of runs, and I'm embarrassed that I douche'd two shift They have video too, not sure when they'll have a chance to post. Stay tuned..."

WHP is WHP. You can build a 5.0 that will murder a C6 Z06 for what the average guy pays for a used C5
I guess all the nitrous cam guys on here who maul C5 Z06s and even C6 Z06s just dont get it either After all, cant they get it through their heads that the Z06 is faster stock?
So basicly your saying a 30K V6 car needs to be modded to keep up with a 65K V8. I am so glad you pointed this out. here we all were thinking that the turbo Zs were stock. Whew, good thing that got cleared up.

the guys raced already, z06 won, see post # 105, they would need more than 437rwhp to beat a c6 z06,the 350z was even retuned after the race

Your ABSOLUTELY right, but they f@cked up in the 90's by making the car too expensive. So this time around they neglected the turbo's and went for the price drop to make them more $$. It worked though, so it was somewhat of a smart move, or there might not be a Nissan today.

Well, not surprisingly, the Z06 pulled him. The previous race was probably done under different conditions etc.
I think its awesome that this actually went down and that everyone involved was cool.
