Formula vs. STi
The formula badging was on the passenger side. I thought it was an LT1 and not a LS1 when I orignally saw it. I've seen very few and that was the first thing that popped into my head was that it was an LT and not an LS.

Definatly not like that scrmn.
98z28- There's a mustang dyno day through storming stangs of CT. I'm going because I'm friends with a stang owner and a WS6 owner. Not sure, but I want to say it's on the 18th of March?.

Typically, you would see Formula on a V6 Formula, or Formula V8 on a V8 Formula. And then the WS6 on the WS6 Formula and WS6 TA.
Mine is a 96 Formula WS6, which has the Formula decal on the bottom right bumper.
LT1 formula badging goes as follows: ON the back rear passenger side bumper it says "formula v8" and on the front driverside headlight it says "Formula v8" both are quite small and your not gonna read it unless you are right on his *** or know what your looking for. I should know I have one. and I have also raced a 6spd WRX STI from a roll and they arnt much at all, I would have pulled his *** if we kept going to 60+.

Mods are intake/cutout/1.6 rr's thats it, and Im automatic. Now if he still had the stock exhaust which is four little chrome circles, it means he was stock most likely, and if you truely are putting down 300rwhp to his about 270(assuming 6spd) your still not gonna pull him in by 4 cars especially from a roll where your parastetic 4wd loss kills ya. My guess is he stopped racing and thats when you pulled him in.

Yeah it said formula, but nothing about being a v8. It just said "formula." Again, I don't have a dyno number yet, so I'm not sure what type of #'s I'm making. I'm just guessing that it's north of 300.....by how much I don't know. It SHOULD be anywhere between 310-330whp. This is also on a low reading dyno(dynamics), so dyno #'s are really irrelevant since we can't compare two cars unless they are on THE SAME DYNO.
Nice yea im getting my install/dyno/tuning all done early april, but I def love going to dyno days so ill see if I can get some of my buddies with evo's and sti's and srt-4's to come along, maybe a few f-bodies too. Im helping my buddy with his evo mr right now. Going with new cams, ported intake and tb, evo 9 turbo manifold and either the evo 9 turbo or maybe a slightly larger turbo ( assuming it can fit on the evo 9 turbo flange). Plus fuel system so should be a stout combo. Def will try to get him to go if we have it put together.

Could be possibly the year? Mine is a 97 and it's the drivers side, and it just says formula.
