Default i love kids with daddys money

this morning on my way home from the gym some kid is a IS300 pulls up next to me. he starts to jump and boost past me a fiew times. i havent driven my car in a while, so i decide to roll with him. we slow down to 50. he honks 3 time and takes off. ill admit he got the jump on me. but by the time i was in 5th i had pulled on him by 4 lengths. i thought that was to easy. so i give him another chance. we slow down to 40, 3 honks, and this time he pulls me by a length. WTF? there is something wrong with that. well, come to find out, this little bastard is running a modded supra motor that is putting down 897WHP. my self running low boost at the time, and not dislikeing that fact that i just got beaten by an import, i turn up the boost to about 15 PSI. we pull back on to the high way. this time is a 40 -180 roll. he honks 3 times, and we both take off. he got the jump on me again, i was fighting for traction. but around 80-90 MPH i passed him like he was standing still. he had enough and didnt want any more. we pull off at a gas station and he looks at my set up and felt like a moron.

boost is your friend!

Ok... Who cares where he got his money from? You don't have to demean this kid because of where the funds "might" have come from. Doesn't sound like this kid was talking **** to you either, so why the bad attitude towards him? Sounds like a race between two cool cars (what is your setup btw?), and not some grudge match.

I wish I were the son of rich parents. Criticizing someone who is seems pretty stupid to me.

Seems to me like someone had a bitter childhood...Who's to say he didn't earn that money himself, and what is a "kid" to you? I know plenty of young people who own VERY expensive vehicles that they payed/are paying for.

897 whp in an IS300? Thats absurd, and you must be making close to 1000 rwhp to leave him like hes standing still, whats your setup?

While 897 RWHP from that engine is not unheard of, it is a rarity. If that's indeed what he was pushing, you'd have to be putting a decent amount to the ground yourself. Details on your setup?

I though he said he was running a modded supra motor and we all know that would be possible.

Wow...good story. I agree with the other guys, how did you know he made 897rwhp?

Also, please keep the excessive speeding to the race track. You are not only endangering yourself but others as well. I see people like that on I-81 and call their plate in. It takes only 1 mistake and if someone messes with MY life or MY son's life, it is a serious offense IMO.

True 897 whp out of a supra engine isnt unheard of, but its not the norm, and I cant see him "leaving the is300 like it was standing still" unless he has over 1000 rwhp...

But if this guy was making 897 in his IS300, the weight difference wouldn't be enough at those speeds to yank past him like he was standing still with 820 RWHP...

Haha yea thats what i mean, im saying there is no way he would walk past the is300, I was just pointing out what 15-16 psi makes to the rear wheels on a 408. I think its complete bs.

Honestly, I have seen an is300 put down 850whp at this shop here in maryland. Company site is www.swiftracing.com.

I got my truck dynoed there a couple years ago. Seen that is300 laying down over 850whp and about crapped myself. Guys are real good and pretty impressive. So it's very well possible. Like I said, if I wasn't there to see it, I wouldn't belive it either. I about crapped myself. Damn thing was loud. He said when they finished tuning, it would be 1000+rwhp.

Guys, I think he meant 180 kph - not mph. So about 110, big difference.
