Default slaying imports like usual

I own a 2000 pontiac TA W/ stage 2 heads, 224 cam, 3.73, gears, 2800 stall, cold air induction, jba headers, slp loudmouth. I was recently pulled over for racing an acura integra with 20 lbs of boost on a turbo. I gave him a one car head start and still caught and passed him. I wound up paying a $174 fine. But it was almost worth it just seeing the look on his dumb *** face as I passed him by. When will the imports ever learn

Nice.

Good Kill IMO.
Though I don't think $175 is worth it. I've paid $370 for a couple. not worth it to me.

No there won't. By that logic there would be a car capable of traveling at the speed of light.

First off, what in the hell was fucked up with his car? Unless his car was seriously fucked, or a piece of ****, this doesn't sound right. You have a 12 second car, and you are beating a car that should be pretty fast considering you said he was running 20 lbs. That is a lot for a Honda/Acura. He couldn't run that on a small turbo, so I assume the turbo was a good size. Any more info? Motor, turbo, anything? I mean I hate Hondas as much as anyone but this just doesn't sound right...

And BTW, you want to run an import that would whip your ***? I am sure there are plenty in CA and you could always come my way.

Lol....I guess we were due for another one of these threads

BTW, 20psi is very high for a Honda, I would like to know more about it myself. Did you get any more info?

Haha, I thought the same thing... But seriously, lets not start this import domestic thing. Its getting to where things are evening out, and you can't ever assume the domestics will be faster. Maybe a while back you could, but not now. There are 4 cylinders running 6 second 1/4's. And 6 cylinder Supras running 7's on street legal tires. I mean ****. I love V8's but you have to give respect where respect is due.

I agree with LSINA7, something dosn't sound right. 20psi, and still being beat by a 12 second car? Those honda motors can be hell with boost, super high flowing heads and boost like each other and with 20lbs of it , well it should have been different.

20PSI of boost doesn't mean **** if the rest of the engine isn't set up right. Not to mention ricers love to lie about how much boost they are pushing.

Chances are he wasn't pushing 20PSI and, and even if he was, the car was probably set up poorly in typical ricer fashion

Ed Zachary!!!

I've never seen an 4 cyl import top fueler.

They do amazing things with 4-bangers.....but they are still only 4-banger.

There has been, and never will be, (in the world of internal combustion engines) a replacement for displacement.

There was one I read about a while back making something like 4000 hp.
