Great thread!!! The one thing I must say is whatever side you're on you always think on the other side is a bunch of douches. I'm formerly of the blue oval crowd and I used to think the same about the LS1 crowd.
Although I must say that last time I asked to race a "terminator" he quoted his mod list and estimated rwhp, but didn't want to race, kind of dismissing me. Kind of pocked my *** a little.

SDB, It must suck having a street car that fast, when's the last time you got a decent race while driving around?

how is Milan on Friday test n tune? They sticklers about stuff? I have long ARP rear studs, driveshaft loop, and a fire jacket, but other than that, no other safety stuff....I will be in the 10's on motor (probably just spray 150 shot so maybe mid 10's on spray). I will be using radials, full weight, etc. I need to get a decent track time, and know Milan is pretty decent. If not there, I will probably go to Norwalk.

The last time I was there I made one pass. I went 11.0 @ 130mph while
standing on the brakes at the 1000' mark in hopes of slowing down enough
to not run a 11.49 or less. Needless to say, they kicked my *** right out.

I called Norwalk, and they said I would be OK on a Friday TNT session without my safety equipment. I think I will go there....about a 3 hour drive for me to, and I don't trailer either. And I hate to get stuck there with a broke 10 bolt as well!!!! Maybe I will trailer it there this time!

I always laugh at that. There's nothingfunny about breaking **** and being stuck at the track though.
