SVT Focus Owner on Crack...Funny Stuff I don't even know what he was thinking, so I assume he was on crack. I'm heading North on 75, doing about 75mph and pass a silver SVT Focus (don't even know what is SVT about it), lowered, wheels and a few stickers (not sure how much HP those stickers are worth). He makes no move...just slouches in seat being cool. Next thing I know...flyby at about 100mph+, cuts right in front of me and dices up 3-4 other cars in traffic. I gave him the finger and kept on my merry way.
*** monkey slows down a mile ahead and I creep up behind him again and pass (no lane changing, he is in a middle lane, and I'm in far left). Still looking cool, but this time I'm watching the little ****. When I get about a car ahead of him, here he comes. I ease into it enough to drop a gear (nice howl from the exhaust, sounds like it is doing more than it really is) and edge off his flyby at about 85mph...let him get about 1/2 car in front and he's pulling, I'm still going 85mph...he's still looking cool (and assuming I'm WOT, I guess?????
). So I show him WOT and from 85 to 130mph I put...oh, about a football field on him, and that's the weakest spot in my car. Hit the brakes for traffic down to 75mph again...zoom goes flyby boy...still looking cool, just destroyed, cuts off a few more people, and I'm sure gets a few more fingers, and off he goes.
I could understand if he saw the Lingenfelter Vette and wanted to see how it ran while I dusted his ***, but he never acknowledged the car or waved at me, thumbs up, nothing...just looked cool.
First "race" since I got the motor work done, and it was with a f'ing POS pill bug looking Focus SVT (what's that worth, about 4 more hp?). Oh well, it's been a couple really long weeks at work, so at least I got to put it up to 130mph for a milisecond.
Now to get back to some guys that offered up some good races and set those up...with vid!

the svt focus is slow as *****! i thought it was a neat little car though, my friend has one. the really only impressive thing about the car was it would do about 74mph in 2nd gear. which is right around what an ls1 will do, not to bad for a 4 cyl. just took so damn long to hit redline in 2nd.

Tell me about it. I was thinking the little egg was going to fly off the road when he passed me, but he came by pretty good and I was running 75mph for the first flyby.
I really thought he just wanted to see the Vette run, but he didn't seem too interested in anything other than cutting people off and trying flybys! 74mph in 2nd?? He must have hammered 3rd when he tried his 85mph flyby
. I was embarrased to even go there, but it seemed like he deserved it 
. Good news is converter locks up in 3rd just where we want it to...at least something productive came of it!

Nice kill. My best friends uncle owns a ford dealership which also happens to be a saleen dealer and they have a focus saleen edition with the N20 kit on it. Well I wanted to see what it had so he let me take it for a test drive, so I take it out and try the N20 button, but no dice, it doesnt work. I guess the dealer cant hook up a bottle leagally so I got to drive it N/A and the thing was such a slouch! I believe it comes with noids for a 50 shot, but even with that it wouldnt compete with a stock srt-4...the older svt focuses ahd a lot more ***** than this saleen focus though.

A Saleen Focus????????????? I don't know whether to laugh or puke. Sad...really, really sad. I'm putting down 465rwhp motor only through a 3200 stall, and I don't think a 50 shot would have helped him much
