How many WHP do yall think it would take for a 3400lbs F body to pull even with the ..New 06 Zo6? I'm thinking around 500 to 510 RWHP to pull even with one of these beautiful beast's.

The zo6 runs mid 11's. With an occasional one down into low 11's. So what ever it would take to get to those times. I know lots of people running those numbers with way less than 500hp.

473 rwhp and 431 rwtq in a C5 FRC wasn't enough to get even, so 500 rwhp and 445 rwtq would probably be even or pull a bit. The F-bod would need 530 rwhp and 460 rwtq with stock gears. A little less if you are running something else (gear ratio) to help your acceleration. JMO because I have seen these cars up close and they are wicked.

It's all in packaging man.
From a dig, a car can be lethal with less wheelp hp. Depending on obvious reasons, traction, weight transfer...etc etc. From a roll, like doug said, your gonna need alot more power to hang with one, then a lesser weight corvette.
From looking in your sig....i'd say you have a decent chance to hang now....depending on skill...traction....and also...depending on whoever is driving the Z06.

Exactly 527.6HP and 437TQ at the wheels, with peaks at 6178 and 4957 RPM respectively. On 2.73s. Assuming standard atmo conditions and a DA of 0 with Jupiter and Venus alighned and a standard positive chi flow that does not **** with the fung shei of the track.

I pulled a viper with my mods about 1 car till 120 or so till he let off then we went again and i had him by 1/2 a car till around 130. So id say a cam and a fast 90 would make things interesting. Now are you talking like a roll race on the highway or in 1/4 mile perspective cause a way underpowered car with a good driver will upset a new z06 on the 1/4.

Just because one beats a C6 Z from a dig, doesn't necessarily mean they will beat it from a roll. From a dig, the Z06 is a mid 11 sec car (low 11's if you are superman, but not the norm) from a roll, the Z06 is a mid 10 sec car, LOL, if you know what I mean.
