Finally had a little race with one of these skittles. There seems to be a ton of those around here but never the opportunity to run one...until yesterday.

Long story short, we went a few times from a dig (basically stop light to stop light) and I would pull 2-3 cars, up to only about 60mph. I spoke with the guy at the light and he said he was completely stock. If that is the case, those things are pretty quick!

If we would have kept on going I think it would have gotten alot uglier for him as I was pulling pretty good before I let off.

From a dig...they are no problem...specially with bolt ons. Just watch out for modded ones on the freeway.

You are spraying thats different. My SRT4 would have busted your *** on the highway even with you spraying and the valve cover had never been off of it, bolt on only no nitrous.

I've spent a lot of time at srtforums warstories (back when it existed) so I know all about the SRT-4's that trap 120-130. But the thing is those cars seem to only exist on the internet. Every one I raced at NYIRP runs mid 13's or slower

my friend has a srt-4 stock 03 with a 75 shot ran 12.8 on a slipping clutch and the one that there building up ran 12.4 on the turbo no race gas and he still has a 100 shot just waiting. .clutch went b4 they could use the nitrous. . and both cars are there daily drivers. .

If I ever get my DVD stuff together, I'll show you the whoopin' I gave to a Stage2, until he turned up the boost and started runnin' race gas with his already aftermarket wheels and carbon fiber hood.

i have no idea of the stages.


but I killed one the other night. I saw him come onto the freeway off the ramp and i somehow knew hed track me down. he had "187" on his windows.. like maybe he was a track car or some ****.


he kept pulling fly bys on me.. and i was like wtf.. i did the same ****.. until i got up next to him and he saw me brake and he got next to me.

from like an 80 rolll to about 110, i put like half a car on him... but we hit traffic.. i rolled down and was like "your quick!"... dumbass couldn't hear me or some ****..

i'd have LOVED to run him from a dig or lower speed rolls... my feathering is good.. heh.

My friend traps 116 in his stg 3, my other friend has a big turbo neon (stock motor) and runs 11.88@122 He pulls a 1.8 60' on DR's. It is VERY common to see an SRT4 pulling 1.8's on a tire if the driver knows what they are doing.

Im pretty sure dom's neon from albany ny would have taken you from a dig or on the highway. He does 523 whp and 497 wtq. Before juice. His best run has been 10 something. And he is still having traction issues out the ***. But than again he is a rare example of srt-4 power.

Perhaps he should get a timeslip and make it official. As far as I know, this is the fastest SRT-4.

SRT-4's can be fast but they can't launch for ****. 1.7 60'? I can do that with bolt-ons and balding Nittos. Most F-bodies trapping 130 are hitting 1.2-1.4 60' times. It's the FWD that's killing them. Not to mention they look like a neon

Hes not the only one in the 10s in an SRT4, there are a decent amount of them. Back when I was reading SRTforums I would see them occasionaly step in and post up slips and stuff. We all know FWD sucks for launching I dont know why you are trying to make fun of that. Those damn cars only weigh 3100 pounds if that, with what people do for weight reduction you have a car under 3000 pounds and with over 500 hp to the ground it makes for one nasty little car.

Wow. Another skittle kill thread that has morphed into a 10 sec. skittle thread...come on guys. We all know that most anything can be modded to a monster and that there are a few skittles running around that can hand an LSx or cobra it's ***, but thay are few.

Then maybe these guys should start posting up slips and vids. If any of these numerous 10 second SRT-4's have a slip faster then the 10.7 I linked they would then have the fastest SRT-4. At least the fastest that has come forward and produced a slip on srtsyndicate.

I'm not making fun of FWD. I am however making fun of them looking like Neons

I have seen a pickup truck that looks like it was from Sanford & Sons run a 9 second quarter mile. I have seen a mid seventies station wagon run in the 9's as well. You can make any car fast with time, knowledge and a whole lotta money. But when the fastest LS1 based F-body is in the 6's it gets a little difficult for me to be impressed by a FWD SRT-4 that takes everything they got to get into the 10's.

That's just my opinion.
