heres my 2 cents to this thread, buy what you like dude and mustang v8s even 2vs have potential.
Heres a vid of a 2v gt with a kenne bell blower @ 9psi, stock 3.27s and drag radials, stock suspension, he hit high elevens low 12s. Not bad for just a blower.

Thats a nice gt...i mean im like on the fence on this descision but as of right now its more like 75% towards the 4v 32valve SN95 Cobra vs. 20% LS1 Firebird vs. 5% Keeping the Lt1 Firebird
The 4.6 DOHC responds well to mods and alot of gear. The 3.27 gears do them NO justice at all. Running 12's NA should not be a problem at all with a 96-98 IMHO. Full exhaust...gears...slicks..little weight reduction..maybe a tune..and drive it HARD...

Im not really sure whether im gonna go turbo or s/c probably s/c as the Procharger will be alot easier to install and ill be doing it myself, this will be the first car ive paid for and not been giving to me so i wanna do everything myself as im just about to turn 18, i mean turbos make a bit more power but im sure for now on the stock block ill be fine with the 450rwhp im gonna shoot for with the S/C...PS all you mustang guys wats a real throaty sounding catback for a 4v 32valve cobra?

If you want a loud exhaust SLP1 'that's what I have on mine'
if your going for that nice tone I perfer Magnaflow.
I personally love my exhaust setup (nice and throaty), but the best sounding 2V I've ever heard had a full MAC setup (LTs, H-pipe, catback). As far as 4Vs go, Magnaflow sounds great, but you really can't go wrong. They just sound great when they're opened up, regardless of how.
