ok, so let me start by saying that i just did my headers and y two weeks ago and ive been trying to figure out how much of a differance they REALLY made other than making the car louder. So Today i was on the interstate doing maybe 65 and i end up behind this pewter vett with a black top, and im wondering if this was some old guy who would never race and as i think this the guy takes of, so i give chase and we get to a nice open stretch already doin about 75 and he guns it, so when i stomp on it after he is maybe 3 lengths in front of me and i stop his pull and close to maybe 1.5 where we stay even well past 120. Well i shut it down and flick my head lights at him and get my speed down. Well we get seperated and i think all is over and im pretty happy with my car and sure as s%^&t i roll back up behind him about 4 miles later and give him the thumbs up and he does the same, well we cruse for awhile and get to another stretch with him about a car infront of me and to my left and he hits it again but this time im ready and hit it right after him, this time i ever so gently pass him and we proceed to go up to maybe 130 and he is about 1.5 cars behind me. So all in all im happy with my car. From what i gather he was pretty close to stock if not completely stock, he looked like an auto cause i saw both hands and didnt see any hard shifting, and im sure he didnt have gears out back bigger than 2.XXs. Also i know he was a vert so atleast as far as vettes are concerned he was about as heavy as they come. Dont flame, im happy, hell i havent even gotten a tune yet!

c5 vert weighs maybe 100lbs more. Might not be that much. Good kill

thnx guys. I was just tryin to reason with myself after it was over as to why i won, cause im as u know a vert to so i figured he was a stock auto with shitty gears, but damn it was intense!

Nice kill my uncle has a c5 vert and I was in it last fall and it feels way faster then my car and its bone stock. Im worried hes gonna get me but o well ill sure as hell try
