Talking Taught some rednecks a lesson in my H/C WS6

I was on the way home yesterday evening in the car. I was just cruising along on the country backroads and got behind an 80s or so chevy 2wd longbed. He was taking curves real slow and braking alot. We get to this straight-away and I casually switch lanes to pass him. I'm in 6th at about 60mph when suddenly black/blue smoke pours from his redneck duals as he attempts to hold me off

I dropped it to 3rd and I think I saw paint come off in huge flakes as I flew by(sarcasm), not letting out til sometime in 5th, around 130-140 4-5 miles down the road I stop at a gas station to fuel up, and when I am almost done the truck goes by and both guys were looking HARD Turns out they either live in the house by the gas station or were visiting someone there cause they pulled in and went inside LOL.

I would have LOVED to see what they said when I smoked by their asses, bet they didn't expect that

I know if I were in a 80's 2wd Truck I wouldn't expect to lose to a LS1 T/A

I didnt mean they expected to win, but that they prolly figured I would back off when they sped up, instead of doing what I did.

Sometimes you've just got to teach people a lesson. Nice work.

Neither would I, but we don't exactly represent the group of people that are out there that would... Trust me.

I have a neighbor with an 80's F-150 that got exhaust some time ago... I'll never forget when he told me that he wouldn't beat me with the new mufflers, but would hang closely. I showed him under my hood, and asked if he was sure. He said yes and asked me if I wanted to run with a serious ******* look... I told him he was probably right and walked away laughing... Not worth the gas and methanol...

Point is that some of these rednecks with trucks are seriously deluded sometimes... It does not surprise me at all if this guy actually thought he'd hold the TC's car off on the stretch.

My neighbor has one of those huge 4X4 deisel trucks that has a good 10k in suspension mods, and the almighty "High performance chip that gives me another 214 horsepower and 252 pounds of torque". It's good entertainment.

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised if he thought he would give you a run, I've had the same thing happen in my B-bird. What really sucks is when T-tops are out, nowhere to pass and the redneck junker is pouring out black smoke.....soooooo cool

Watch out, the truck nut swingers are gonna get all over this one, just like they do in every truck thread.

We all know diesels can be made to be fast.

True, for those that don't know, there is a local Duramax xcab with bolt on's and tuning that makes over 650 hp and over 1200 ft lbs, at 6600lbs it runs 11.30's! That ain't too bad for an old redneck in a diesel.

Those are the sleepers, lol.

I remember when my buddies started modding their diesel trucks a few years back and I was like, wtf.

Those were fun to take to the "cruise ins".

I definately was right. That thing sounds MEAN! Definately will make anyone that pulls next to it double think about running it. I wouldn't go for the sleeper theme if I were you.
