ok...im hijacking this thread for a min, but i gotta put my .02 in im a die hard chevy fan but i have ridin in some nice mustangs, and equally ive riddin in some nice f-bods each have there differant quirks about them that appeals to differant ppl so it all comes down to what your happy with I personaly would drive a stang...but it have to be a old en... like 1960's cuz i just hung with 2000 v6 mustang in my crapy lil 4 cyl camry...and that just tickled me to death now i know theres no comparison to a 4.6, or even a 5.0, but i think its just that v6 gutless-ness that gives the stang owners a bad rep. Some how the v-6 trend just didnt seem to catch on a whole lot with the f-bodys (Thank God) But all in all, they both can be nice cars with enough money

Ok whoops no 02 Cobra, I've heard this and that just never did the research. But I know quite a few people with Cobras and I've riden in a few different ones and driven a couple. A new edge Cobra is a high 13 second car. Stock for stock an LS1 is going to take it. Do a little modding and it's a different story.

Mach 1's and 01 Cobras are LOW 13 second cars.

I was gonna say 13.70s instead of 13.80s, but I figured that would get me alot of **** from the "2Vs are slow" crowd . I know a guy with 4.10s, intake, and exhaust that was pulling 13.1s
