Before you spew nonsense you may want to check your facts also, unless ordered without it, all irocs came with a/c. As a matter of fact, most 3rd gen camaros came with a/c except for the 4 cylinder cars that were made back in the early 80's.
Well, when stangs outsell camaro's 2:1....OF COURSE you'll see more on teh road. Simple mathmatics.

DISCLAIMOR: nothing against the cool GM guys, This guy is just being an asshat.

Ok kid...whatever you say. You are the man. So what does that iroc run in the 1/4? Broke into the 13s yet?

Yup, the Camaro was a heavier car in the 80's and still spanked stangs, NUFF SAID.
Would you care to finish the review you cut and pasted? "Bigger, wider and heavier and noticable..." never ends in a good thing.

You are either: 1. Ignorant, 2. A fanboy that doesn't know the facts or (the inexcusable) 3. An ignorant fanboy who doesn't want to know the facts.

If you stick around here, you'll get educated even if you don't want it.

HAHA this is good. If so many camaros in the 80's were made without a/c why are a/c delete boxes going for $100 in decent shape and why do so many people want them for their irocs and why are they kind of hard to find ? Also why is it you can get the same a/c delete box ( if you can find one ) from the junk yard for about $10 and get $100 for them ? It's pretty simple really, not too many of the camaros from the 80's came without a/c unless it was ordered without it. Do some research or show some proof before you spew garbage about a chevy on a chevy based site.

What is there to finish ? A 80's camaro is a bigger and heavier then a 80's stang, so I answered the question about curb weight. If you could possibly think a 80's mustang is heavier then a 80's camaro you are the one who needs the education.

kennyxg was referring to the 5.7 (that's not a 305 by the way) IROC cars that came with the A/C delete and still couldn't take a 5.0 HO GT, not to mention the EVEN LIGHTER notch.

If you wanted a STOCK car from the General to run with a STOCK fox, you needed a 6 cyl turbo car...made by Buick.

Reading comprehension owns you.

I know a 5.7 isn't a 305 and as a matter of fact the 5.7's were pretty slow, my buddy had a 88 with a 5.7 and I walked him with my 305. Of course a 5 speed against a auto car, both mostly stock, isn't much of a comparison IMO from a roll. My 89 must have been a freak of nature to have taken so many stangs and that buick turbo car, what were they called ? Oh yeah a grand national. Something must have been wrong with his turbo. All this without a a/c delete. to the mighty rustang.

BTW - The 5.7 and 5.0 cars that did come without a/c also didn't have any other power options as well unless they were ordered with them and they were called a 1le.

I see you got your car description in your sig. Looks like you should have a very fast car. Any 1/4 mile passes? Any E.T.s on that freak 305?

No 1/4 passes on either car. I ran a GTO the other night from a 40 roll in second and he jumped me, couldn't hear his horn with the loudmouth on his car. When I punched it though I made up some ground and stayed even with him then until 5th gear then he pulled me. He told me he ran a 13.2 at the track with it and I think that was on street tires, not quite sure. My car has stock exhaust manifolds, stock garbage 4th gen y pipe and a flowmaster muffler, not even sure if it is the whole cat back.

Like I said.....Street races. You have a Fart tip on that thing too?

"I beat this one guy that said he ran 13.2, so I know my car is a mid 12 car, cause I had him by 3 lengths...EASY"

Sounds familiar.

Even though I am presently header-less, my LT1 was loud as **** and I had no problem hearing someone else's horn.
Maybe its a scooter horn?

Not the end all and more then a few street races under my belt as well. A race is a race no matter what, someone wins and someone loses. I've run plenty of other cars from a dig at stoplights, from countdowns and from a roll and beat many more then have beat me.
