This thread has already been ruined. It started with the know it all that loves 3rd gens so much he put a LS motor in it. It continued with your comments.
As for me? I hope Unit locks this thing...unless he wants to keep the humor/arguing going.

Nope, never driven a fox-body and for that matter a 3rd gen, just to be honest. My brother did have a fast (0-20mph) and slow (20+ mph) 82 Trans Am buts that a different story.
So personal experience I lack, but I'm sure some 3rd gen folks could chime in and correct you because I'm fairly certain about 3rd gens, at least the WS6, handled better than a Fox.

The last year of the L98 was 92, and I believe it was 225hp/340tq.
Thats more than a 95 Mustang GT.

No, it was 245 hp/ 345 torque, and the corvette L98 was 250/350, because of aluminum heads.
The L98 was made to take out 5.0 mustangs. Even though it's a good race between the 2, the L98 should win 80% of the time. My bolt-on L98 made it to 13.8 @ 100 mph. There's a guy on ThirdGen.org that swapped a t-56 and all he had was intake/exhaust and he ran a 13.89 @ 100-101 (Can't remember)
Third Gens are somewhat limited by the auto tranny, but the t-56 w/ a good gear and bolt ons they will move pretty well.

Ive only skimmed over this thread but dont tell me the astute GM guys are saying 305 and 350 Irocs cleaned the streets when 5.0's were out. Ive had both Iroc's and an LG4 Z28 (first car) and that would be insane (in the membrane). A black Steeda/bolt on Coupe with the parking lights on driving around on a friday night was enough to make all GM bowties envious. I still do it every night and oh yea, its Friday night. Man I have too many friends on here to take sides too.

Before you spew nonsense you may want to check your facts also, unless ordered without it, all irocs came with a/c. As a matter of fact, most 3rd gen camaros came with a/c except for the 4 cylinder cars that were made back in the early 80's.

I don't have to do a google search either, a/c in irocs was a standard factory option unless the car was ordered without it or it was a 1le. Then again, do you even know what a 1le is ? LOL, nice granny shifting and R/T in your video also.

88 Mustang Coupe. Bone stock except a lousy computer chip (this was 1988, after all) it went 14.07 @ 99 mph. Add an off-road exhaust and it went 13.75 @ 100 mph. With just bolt-ons and slicks, it went 12.52 @ 107 mph.
There are other similar examples out there.
Someone please find me a 3rd Gen that has gone anywhere near that quick with an externally-stock, original motor. For that matter, find me one that has broken 12's at all with just bolt-ons.
And I'm not hating....we had an 85 Z28. Very nice car. Just not very fast.

91 LS1 Z28....there is no such thing as a "standard option". Either it is standard, or it is an option. Certainly most cars came with A/C (Mustang or Camaro), as that is the way most dealers stocked their lots.
And I'm sorry, you simply don't know what you're talking about when it comes to 3rd Gen VS Fox-body.
