cam only LT1 vs. bolton LS2 GTO Whats up guys,
Met up at wawa last night (the usual), and saw this black 06 gto. talked to the owner a bit, and he told me he had an intake, exhaust, and short throw shifter. we decided to go from a roll, 40 - 100. three honks later, I start pulling him. Once we hit 100, I had put 2 cars lengths on him. HOLY ****! I Beat an ls2 gto! I was all pumped up. next car im looking to race is a stock 03 cobra
cliffnotes: pulled 2 lengths on a light bolton ls2 gto m6

its difficult to find a stock cobra wanting to run. usually if its stock, its some older guy driving, not caring about performance, just a nice mustang. people who buy a cobra to run, mod the **** outta it the second they get it!
im still on the lookout though. i still gotta get my rear worked on, and put some 4.10's in. should pull alot better

Cobra's weight about 3650 lbs right?
Thats about 250-300 more lbs that an LT1 Fbody.
I think he has a great chance to beat a stock Cobra, with maybe even a bolt on or two.
From a dig most definitely, from a roll... well thats going to be sweet.

at least mine doesn't sound like and *** at wot (not a generalization but i have heard some awful sounding ls1 car that the owners think sound sweet)
