IMO they are only going to tell you half the story if they want to bet big $$$. Unless they are idiots. He will prly use race gas and boost it up to 21 lbs. You never know. Bet 300 bucks and put a 200 shot in your motor he will pay for half of it. Run some race gas. I have seen similar cars that are sick, that kept up pretty good with my 87 iroc which had about 475hp with nos. if you are betting a decent amount of money add some POWER.

A camaro has nothing to fear against a prelude "in the twisties". A lude isnt a 2500 lb car that is light enough to overcome limitations like fwd, 60/40 weight distribution, skinny tires etc. Its a porker for a 4 banger.

Fact is, a camaro ss, with the same professional driver (Steve Millen, ex IMSA champion) on the same track (Thunderhill) outran a s2000 in a comparison test and was maybe a second slower than an nsx. No way in hell a prelude with a turbo is taking out a s2000 on a track.

Funny how my Z28 hardtop with a full tank, 17s, NOTHING pulled out save for the jack and spare weighs 3300 lbs., but I guess you being an "importee" CANNOT be wrong, right??

I saw the NSX/Camaro/S2000 Thunderhill comparison, and it wasn't really surprising at all to me. It's not the Camaro handles the same as the other two, it's just fast enough on the straight parts of the track to overcome that deficit.

He also has the other usual stuff such as tune, full exhaust, intake , clutch. The story is just like all the others so I wont bleed the details, lets just say he ends up offering to race me for $500. We havnt worked out the details of if it will be from a 20mph roll or dead stop.

Would my stock LS1 beat his moderate turbo prelude? I know stock preludes run like 15 flat. Would a turbo boost it all the way to low 13s? I'm thinking even with all his mods, its only pushing maybe 280hp to the wheels and is high 13s at the most. I ran a 13.04 last fall.

I don't know much about rice burners so any fair warning would be nice. Thanks.
w00t! at what mph? We ran same times!

It's rated higher than a normal Z28, but it dosn't really have anymore until the Ram Air effect actually becomes useful. Which is fast
