Even stock I beat mild modded rice... Most evos around here arent modded at all, and even the ones that are, are still slow. only one to be afraid of for now, but he has all of daddys money wrapped up in it.
Cars are a personal preference. No matter what you or I say its not going to change eachothers mind on whos is better. I agree with the fact that they look like a blast to drive, but once you start modding the crap out of them, well, most arent that reliable anymore. Which is a statement that holds true to almost all cars.

I dont think that I was too far out of line, or talking mad **** with my original statement considering I was unaware of the "friendly" rivalry that was going on with the lurking ricers.

You car is fast enough to take down plenty of cars on the street and at the strip. As long as you chose your races wisely, you won't ever have to worry about losing.
What color is that evo your talking about? Might be the guy I said is the one to worry about.
Just a rant really.... Started with an evo guy at the local spot laughing his *** off when a full drag big block camaro stalled out pulling out of the lot... ****** was laughing his *** off. OOOOs and thats what you get for driving a chevy.... Only thing is that the car just loaded up from idling . It wasnt built to idle. It fired back up, and after clearing the loaded fuel with a couple of window rattling revs, took off on his way.
And this was at a cruise night killed by ricers doing powerslides and burnouts and ****.
If you dont fall into one of these catagories then again, my bad homie.... I will keep my trap shut.

I'm talking about AMS' shop, but I'm not sure which actual street cars are around there. They have built quite a few in that area though, I'm sure.
I understand what you mean about the whole idling issue. I have a few good friends with H/C/I F-bodies and have watched them have issues with idling. Could have been the tune, could have been the fact that it didn't like the A/C. Who knows. I had a few problems myself after running larger injectors.
I like to run cocky people with slower cars, as well as cool guys with faster cars.

All depends. Most of the time when I get a good run lined up next to me my wife and kid are with me... I wont run with my daughter in the car... Just wont do it. But if she isnt there, and its not a cop trap street, I will run just about anyone thru a few gears... Win or lose. I just dont gve a **** like I used too. Its all in fun.
As for the car... it was a 70 camaro.... 540 or something under the hood... Thing was a beast... High 8 car or something... chute and all... This thing was a little off the street legal side of things.
