this really isnt a kill story its more like a wtf is that. i was on the 105 freeway last night on my way to lax airport when i saw a white mercedes benz MLS or thats what it said on the back. it had dual exhuast and was a two door. it looked like a CLS/CL 600. i tried to see if he wanted to " try " his little toy out but he only accel. for 2 seconds then prolly looked at my gto and thought wait a minute i dont need to race im rich!!!! i told my buddy that it was prolly a tuner like brabus, lorinser, carlsson or something cause it looked like it had a body kit. all in all it was one of the nicest benz i have ever seen but i never heard of a MLS maybe someone can help me on this one.

My best guess is it is a Merc directly imported from Germany... sorta like the Fair Lady for Nissan 350

not really thats the ML your talking about this one said MLS and had no number or anything else after it, it was a two door coupe body that resembled the cl600 or cls maybe it was a 08 model or something

thing was third world viscious!!!!! but what mercedes tuner has the M intial? i only know of brabus carlsson lorinser as tuners for these cars and i already checked their websites.

Are you sure it wasn't a ML 500 with the two zeros missing? There is no MLS Mercedes here or Europe. If it is a coupe it is a CLK or CL. If it's a two seater it's a SLK or SL. ML's are SUV's. The CLS is a four door that has a roofline similar to a two door coupe but it has four doors. The others are sedans and they are the C, E or S class. They also have the G which used to be a really rugged off road vehicle along the lines of a Hummer but it is now just a big ML. AMG and Brabus are tuners and have thier own markings but AMG's are typically just the class of car and the engine size expressed in two numbers. For example E55. Brabus changes theirs periodically but they usually use a letter and a number to express the level of tuning. They used to use two letters and then the amount of cylinders. Brabus cars go out of thier way to look like a stock Mercedes that is rediculously fast.

that would be the cl coupe. they come in a 550.600.cl63 amg and a cl65 amg. i have never heard of a mls before and im om most of the bigger benz forum's. could be a local tuner.

The picture posted above is a CLS, you probably saw a CL That someone changed the badging on. Renn Tech is a big tuner here for those cars, had seen a couple come into the Palm beach Dealer. There is such a thing as a CLK DTM, full out race car, search that.
