Well tonight I lined up a race with a bone stock Azure blue mach 1. Said the car was bone stock, and he was. My buddy ran him first in his 86 300zx turbo. He ran side by side with him, pulled him some up top bout a fender, half a car.
So we line up, he doesnt know what i have going on, no idea what was under the hood. So i said just go, ill catch up. he kept bugging me about 3 honks, i kept insisting that he just go. SO, he finally takes off, spun a bit , i left off idle. I took off he was out about 1.5 cars, broke the 275//50-15 drag radials off about 3500rpm, let off, got into it in 2nd, spun some more and put it in drive and lugged it around 3500rpm. Started pulling him really hard, by about 4500 in drive i was going around pretty fast, took it up to about 5500, around 115mph i suppose. Had about 8 cars on this guy. Anyways he was pretty cool about it and pulled up beside me, "Holy ****, whats in there anyway??" So i told him he was pretty blown away about it.

Lined em up again and he wanted a few spots. I said just go for awhile, ill come later. sure enough, i took out his 5 car lead and put a car on him by 125, Fun night.

Sounds like you have a nice car. Great kills also.... but you really need to take that gay comment off your sig!!! It just takes away from how cool your car is. I think any car that is fast should be respected. You're probably wondering why i'm on these forums as a acura guy.... well the answer is I want a C6 Z06 so bad I can taste it. Talking to the ls motor owners on this site is as close as I will get right now. The wife has clearly stated that I am forbidden from setting foot in a chevy showroom!!! LOL The point is that even if I do get my dream car..... unless I have enough saved up to get the 800whp lingenfelter TT treatment......... My integra will still rape it!!!

waste of gas? that is probably the fastest car ive ever had the opportunity to race in my town, i have the 2nd fastest car in this area. The fastest is a 70 cuda with a stroked to a 408 mopar and a F1 procharger on it. he has around 650whp, i have about 600 crank hp.
Also i just copy and pasted my sig from other boards, and that is a old joke on my local board. And its def staying. As far as im concerned anyone that is retarded enough to build a FWD car for drag racing is, well, retarded.

On a different note..... is A 650whp cuda really the fastest street car out there? Wow!!! Here the fastest has 1600whp and runs 7's @ 185mph.

GSR - I can respect your desire to have an open mind....however, 550WHP and running mid 11s?.....after all that custom work, time, and money?...now do you see why people like the OP (relating to his sig) have that kind of thought? And I am surprised L.V. only has a 7 second car. Hell, I live near measely Fresno and we have 7 second cars.

Well I used to have an Integra GS-R (fastest stock one I've ever found, actually), so the "import scene" doesn't bother me. It's the "ricer" mentality that bothers me... n matter what you drive.

yeah im not hatin on the guy at all, i have a 1g eclipse as well, winter beater though. I didnt want to mention it because of you having a GSR and all, but that quote was actually added to get under a guy locally with a GSR's skin. Sure he has a fast car, it did 10.85@136, but hes an idiot for it. It sits on the rev limiter until the 1/8th mile. Now on the street, 13 second cars can hang with him. why? no traction, FWD is gay. My car may only do 11.7, but it will do that on the street as well, as it usually hooks pretty hard, and on that run i left off idle (stock 1900 stall, 14", 3/4 ton pickup converter).

And for the reference, yes i have the 2nd fastest street car here. there are cars 50 miles away that do 8's, but i live in a small town. Also i only count street cars as one that you take out EVERY week, and put real miles on it. Hell i have about 8000 miles on this year already, the cuda has probably 4000.


On another note, i have a feeling i will be ordering a procharger for that mach 1 in the spring for a install, guy was def cool about it. Last year i ran a old guy in his new mustang gt im my 04 GTO. I beat him handily, then gave him 3 cars next run. So, i sprayed 150 on him and beat him by another 4, 2 weeks later hes driving through town and i see a procharger front mount sticking out, havent got a run since though.
