on my way home tonight i came across a 200x vette i had talked to him earlier in the year and his mods are catback and k&n intake he is also an m6.

Well anyways we catch a light together and we both had the wives with, mine was excited his wasnt to thrilled. well light goes green he floors it with a lil spin i get in eas cause i really dont feel like snapping another half shaft any ways he puts his bumper at about my front tire through first, i hit second at 40 and ran by him hit 3rd and he was like 6 cars back when i shut down at about 90ish dont know if he just gave up part way through third but exchanged thumbs up and went our seprate ways.

not to get off subject, but I was stationed at grandforks back in 92-95 while I was in the air force.....I was protecting the nukes......

 

yeah the nuke area is still under lock and key, i wouldnt get caught in there. i still think there is something in there, always people in there for loooooooooong periods of time and you never see them come or go.

 

I'm courious as how your 422rwhp cobra would put 6 cars on a LS1 vette, when i've seen LS1's with a few bolt on's beat or tie 400+rwhp cobras. Good run I guess

that was before any exhaust work read my sig. if i had to guess i would say its around 450-460 now. and the only way a bolt on ls1 will beat a 400rwhp cobra is if the cobra driver is new to the car or just plain sucks ***.

I owned a 2000 Vette 'Vert (chipped only) and I must say I wasn't impressed - I'm not surprised a modded Terminator could whack it like that.

 

Thats not true. I'm sure a bolt on c5 vette(approx. 350rwhp) can beat or run side by side with a 400rwhp cobra. The weight difference really hurts the cobra.

Are you serious? The 03-04 Cobras are faster than the Vettes stock 4 stock. A LS1 with CAI and exhaust is probably making 335rwhp or so..422rwhp in the Cobra means that the race will be ugly..

 

I went 11.29 in my Cobra with less mods than he has...that's how.
