00 WS6 M6 MAC mids, exhaust, LID, Cam 228/230 .571 .592. 112 +4 LSA, LS6 Intake, tune and 100 Shot.

So I am at the parts store getting oil and stuff for Big Poo. (The 1 ton)
I leave and get lined up with a S197, Black, Clean Car. Sounded bone stock.
So I started it, through the guy a rev he laughed. So then I purge...no more laughing no more smiling. Seriousness from that guy. Light turns green, boy those new Mustangs are so sharp, especially bus lengths back in the rearview mirror. Maybe I should have skipped the N20?

Modded 00WS6 smokes what I believe to be bone stock S197.

Nice kill. If he's stock then he's an idiot for laughing at a cammed WS6, He never has no idea what kind of mod's or motor you might have.

Why do you assume he was laughing at the car? When other driver's throw me a rev I laugh @ times too. Nothing against the car though.

Because when I purged he stopped, which tells me the guy thought he probablly would have no problem beating me until he saw the purge. Just a guess. But most likely true.

That's true that people's responses are ambiguous and you never can tell what their really thinking but in my past experience when some one laugh's usually means they dont think your fast enough.

Good Kill! Forgot to mention that. I laugh @ C5's to ricer's just the same. I even laugh @ my Friend Reggie's Cammed T/A. Hell I laughed when my wife fell down a flight of stairs.

Good, kill. Im not a fan of S197s at all. They are kinda like the early 4.6 2v GTs, lol, just depressing. They might be a little quicker if they didnt weigh in at over 3600lbs.

Well they don't weigh over 3600lbs. On a good day, mid-high 13s @ 100-102 is expected.

My wife and I drove one and she was going to get it...but JR showed up so we got the Caddy.
I really like how they look and we wouldn't even consider an import car so we looked at one new for her.
I love the kid, but if we had not had him, that is what she would be driving.

they can go alright with some mods but a stock one racing a t/a with bolt ons cam and good size shot is like fishing with dynamight. no contest.

So let me get this straight..... you hate imports sooo much that you wouldn't even consider one? Even if lamborghini made the lp640 35 grand you wouldn't even consider it? In your sig you say imports don't concern you. Does this mean you have no regard for them..... or you don't think you can be beat by one so they don't concern you?
