hey fadi...So the SRt10 out trapped the C6Z06 by 2.8 mph..Or should I just say 3 mph????

So far 1-3 mph higher trapp speeds out of three test..

So i beleave we can comfortably say that the 2008 SRT10 will be a 128-130 at best mph trapping vehicle..

While the C6z06 is a 125-127 at best trapping vehicle..

Hell I can live with that..

So what were the acyual MT ET's and MPH's between the two.

If anything the Gen II's look more exotic than the Gen III. The Gen III has a meaner look with all the scoops and vents. I have never thought of the Gen II as mean, and never will. I am pretty sure most people prefer the looks of the Gen II over the Gen III, at least the people I have spoken with. The fact that you own a Gen III has simply made you over zealous about the SRT-10. You sure did a 180 on the SRT-10s looks first its ugly then its as nice as a GTS. You should change you name to "SRT-10 Zealot". Then when you "upgrade" to you next car change your name again.

95 hp and 90 lb ft advantage......and still the Viper is a few tenths here and there faster....where did all the power go? The much heavier 599 GTB with 11 more hp and much less torque...is quicker and faster.

And so far, the Viper has yet to hit 127 mph like the Z06 did. Hmm..what does that mean?

And how about since, again, the Viper was a hair quicker thorugh the 1/4 by .1 secs.

It was quicker to 140 by 1 sec, but I bet as speeds increase, the Z06 will probably start catching up. To 150, the 1 sec becomes a .5 sec according to C&D.

So, Killemall, it looks like the 600 HP Viper is barely any faster than the 100 LESS horse powered Z06. But in conclusion, your 03 Viper that will get its *** completely handed to it by any stock C6 Z06.

Just imagine, if the 600 HP Viper is this close to the C6 Z06, what's gonna happen when the Blue Devil comes out with 150 more HP and less weight?

FADI YOU JUST DONT GET IT MAN...the vettes a vette and the vipers a viper...

To me paying 100K for a freakin vette is the stupidest move some one could make..Why pay 100K for a 6.2 with a supercharger and a revised hood man...

When you can spend 43K on a black LS3 C6 and super charge the lil 6.0 engine and put on a differant hood and bdoy panals and have a car that looks and performs like the BD..

that car is a joke man plain and simple..

Now if GM would have stepped it up to a 7.5 litre 442 ci 600 HP beaste trapping low 130's..Well id care more..

But a 6.2 litre vette with a supercharger. man that just screams bean counters and frankly i hope Chevy dosent go through with this one...

No matter how much faster the 2003 cobra was than a base 2003 c5 no one really respected it in the same way..

same goes for the FGT..Sure it was a lil faster than the c6Z06 but ford needed the SC to beat chevy.. And people still respected the chevy more..

now the dodge is beating them with 600NA...Again exciting..But what if the 2008 SRT10 had went from 8.3 litres to 7.0 and added a SC???? And was running 10's in every test..

Id still like the c6z06 more

2008 SRT10 - 11.7 sec @ 124.4 mph
2007 Z06 ---- 11.8 sec @ 121.6 mph

The Viper even at 600 hp...doesn't look very good next to a C6 Z06 for the money....but the only reason to buy a Viper is because you think it looks better...

Agreed, talk to any True Viper Enthuiest, or collector and they will all agree the Gen II is not only far more attractive, timeless and classic, but also far more collectable.

The Viper reached perfection with the 2002 ACR.
