I don't like racing to to between 140 and 160. Like when i raced the mustang, by the time i got into 3rd gear i pulled 7 cars on him. We were racing to 100 though.

no it was actually some old fogey in the car with some younger chick...I slowed down to let him catch up and he was just like the typical "wow what do you have done to that thing". and of coarse he couldnt really hear me so I yelled out big motor, big turbo, and floored it and left, lol.

Nice guy though.

Here we race bridge to bridge... which is nearly a mile race. This way there is no honking or bad starts. We agree upon start speed.... usually around 50mph.... run side by side to the first bridge at agreed upon speed and gun it..... second bridge is race over.... This way there is no shutting down and claiming victory after a single gear!!! Most of the time you run the full race no matter what... but sometimes if I am destroying someone... like this 450whp cobra.... then I will shut it down so I don't embarrass the guy. This race turned out to be even more embarrassing then it would've been if I had stayed in the throttle... because he stayed in it and I still won the race without putting my car in 5th gear!!!

Then theres some cocky people who think their cars are the fastest things on the planet who need to be taught a lesson... like this guy with a 310whp 1800lb turbo rabbit.

Here is another vid of that rabbit.... after he runs the civic... you can hear how cocky he is!!!

That doesn't make any sense. You can have a bunch of overpaid guys on your roster that don't gel together and therefore you have a terrible team. Bad analogy

You end the race when someone is just losing too badly (usually around 140-160) or if its neck and neck until someone shuts down.

But to each their own
Pretty much how we do it here. I stop at the top of 4th. You can tell whose faster by then in most all cases. I would go to 5th if the need arised though

I like 1st gears rolls the best. So does my stock 10 bolt and my 4:10s. 2nd gear rolls arent bad either.

A stop, the only way to race, unless you are racing an awd, than a low roll is better. A stop or a low roll is the only way i can keep up with an ls1, those bi ches are fast past the 1/8 mile, from a roll the ls1 can fly .

I have no idea... but the modded C6 Z06 that I ran said he was at 180 and I beat him by 5 cars. There are a few cars that can hit the second bridge at over 200 and a supra and a viper that can probably hit 225 or more. Everyone from out here will know whose cars I'm talking about.

In street racing, it shouldn't ******* matter. It's nothing official, there's no "street prep". Like they say "Run what you brung". Besides, most street encounters happen on th freeway.

most of my races happen on the highway on the way to somewhere. I'll race from anywhere. Usually i like first gear rolls at 40mph, and 2nd from 65mph...those are the best for me. I don't mind racing from a dig as long as its a car that is like mine...slow, street tires. It sucks knowing that you're going to get ruined because your car doesn't work lol.
