Alright guys and gals, I have this chick friend who has a 94 admiral blue vette that she claims she can toast me in. She doesn't have one thing done to this car. I know because I have seen under the hood and she really doesn't take good care of it. It is automatic the same as mine. What do you think the outcome will be? My time is in my sig. I believe I will absolutly kill her, but just want some opinions. Thanks.

 

You should pull her pretty good,you wont ABSOLUTLY DESTROY HER though

 

An Auto LT1 Vette is nothing too special.
300bhp/340btq and around 3300 lbs.

Might be closer then you think though depending on where you race, gearing, and who gets the hit.

She probably thinks she can beat you, because the LT1 will feel alot faster driving around town.
However, on an all out race, the smooth revving LS1 and its top end poise will take over.
I predict 2-6 cars in favor of you, pending your ability to stomp the gas

 

My mom had a '94 Vette a few years ago, and it basically became my car when I turned sixteen. There was a guy at school with an automatic Firehawk, and we used to do little short stints all the time. If it was a from a roll, he would slowly but steadily pull away. If it was from a stop, we were right next to each other for a while, and then he would start to pull a bit. You'll win this one... just don't get cocky about it, cuz it should be close-ish.

 

Yep, as said above, you should win, but that never means you will; and with a mid-13 second car you really do need a good walkin' to get mod-motivated!

ive raced my dads 95 w/ catback k/n and hepertech programer in bolth cars and beat him by about a car from a dig every time

 

lil faster than a same year z28 or TA... just a little lighter... outcome is obvious... but you arent going to destroy her by any means...
