Which slicks to use on public/dusty roads? Can't match AWD cars launch

Some of you just dont realize how ******* nasty those awd cars are on the street man, seriously, RWD car with 200+more HP then the AWD losing by CAR LENGTHS is the norm where i go....awd is HARD to mess with on the street

Ok, those who can't read...
He is racing 'at the track', but not a prepped track. In Latvia they do not have 'drag strips', races are run on the street.
And as far as no prep... you need far more power. You'll have to run the AWD cars down.
Fact is, the AWD cars on street tires launch nearly as hard as a drag tire RWD, and on drags to drags, you're just NOT gonna holeshot an AWD. This applies on ANY surface, prepped or not, and may just be amplified on dusty/unprepped surfaces.
I do think you can get better times with drag springs and shock; the Bilsteins are nice for handling, not so much for drag. A 90/10 shock will be much better for launching, but won't handle all that well, and soft springs will launch better too. Try Summitracing.com for 'drag shocks' and 'drag springs'.
If you're able to launch 1.7 or 1.8 for the 60 foot times (are they even timed?), you're doing pretty well.... but you'll need more power to catch the AWD cars, because they are likely pulling 1.3 or 1.4 short times on drags.

I have a neighnor who runs a 700 or so HP AWD Eclipse... and he commonly sees 1.2 60 foot times. his car is full race and built for it, on drags. VERY seldom do I see similar short times for ANY RWD.

Thanx every body who has answered, especially to Boodyrider
But I will repeat once again - we're racing on special tracks, but these "special tracks" have pavement worse than on just a good road.
I seriously doubt that owners will allow some treatment on their tracks, but point is taken, I'll keep it in mind.
See this car - it couldn't do even 7.0 seconds in 1/8

So, my suspension setup is good enough, except shocks and springs?
What if I stick some really wide MT Drags in there? Would I be able to put tires so that they stick out of fenders? Now I have some 2.5-3" vertical clearance between tire and fender, will it be enough to not to touch the tire when launching?

What do you think, will Hoosier 28 x 14.5 - 15 slicks fit?

Watch what the "owners" do to the track. I was at "cough" doing some "racing" back when I had my lt1 car and some douche that drove a evo threw a huge *** thing of baby powder on the "launch pad". He was forced to automatically forfeit by some pissed of guys.
Ditch the m6 and get an a4 with a 4k stall. Problem solved.
